"Mr. Ed Wise at E-Tex Foundation Repair in Gladewater, Tx (903-331-3278) said the procedure would take a total of three days, told me everything that needed to be done, and kept in touch. He called the day before to tell me they were coming out the next morning. He and the crew were very friendly, and worked quickly, efficiently, and professionally. After digging out four pier holes, they laid cement and left it to dry through the next day. He called the next day and let me know when they were coming out on the third morning. They arrived on time and jacked the slab to re-level and shimmed with solid concrete blocks and plate steel shims. Ground areas that had been lost were filled in with dirt and well-packed, and concrete pieces and dirt stabilized my driveway. Everything was cleaned up from the work area, and I was extremely happy with the results. I would recommend this company of very friendly, very competent people to everyone I know. With the work guaranteed (with a transferable warranty) for 30 years, I have nothing but the best to say about the people and the services rendered. Excellent communication from Mr. Wise beginning with my first email to the company for a bid through the completion of the job! "

"We called Accede after finding them online. Initially we called them for quotes on a back yard construction project we've been considering for a long time. The owner, Jess Marshall met us and took measurements. While he was on the roof checking on some structural items he noticed hail damage on our roof and gutters. He encouraged us to call our insurance company, which we did. When our adjuster came to look at our property Jess met him to show him the damage he'd observed. Our insurance company totaled several items including the roof, gutters, fence, etc. We contracted with Accede Construction to repair all of the insurance claim items as well as to build the new back yard structures and concrete patio. We were impressed with the way Jess and his team communicated with us about scheduling and other technical project issues. Every time my husband or I had a question or a concern, Jess and his project managers got back to us right away. We are so happy with the finished patios, arbors, roof, gutters, fence etc. The attention to detail and cleanup efforts from all the Accede crews was impressive. Jess also processed our insurance claim paperwork and helped us recover our depreciation as well as a supplement. My husband and I have already referred Accede to friends and family and we will continue to do so!

Concrete Mudjacking questions, answered by experts
Most states and municipalities don’t require concrete mudjacking companies to carry a specific license, but they usually need to have a general contractor’s license, and they should be fully insured. The only exception is if the mudjacking company provides foundation repairs as well, or if it offers mudjacking for home foundations. In that case, they will typically need a foundation repair contractor’s license. You can check state requirements and then use Angi’s license lookup tool to confirm that a company is properly licensed to provide mudjacking services in your area.
Concrete leveling is absolutely worth it if you have sunken concrete slabs and want to restore them to level, especially if the slab is part of your home foundation. Concrete leveling is less than half the price of replacing concrete sidewalks, patios, walkways, and pool decks, and it’s about a quarter of the cost of replacing a foundation. If you also treat the underlying problem, it can be a worthwhile and permanent solution.
Charges correlate with surface size, settlement depth, and access, often yielding significant savings over concrete replacement.
Polyjacking can be a permanent solution to sunken concrete if you also address the underlying issue—like poor drainage—at the same time. The polyurethane material itself can last as long as or even outlast the concrete you’re lifting it with. Your sunken concrete issue will likely return if you don’t couple polyjacking with proper drainage to prevent future soil movement and sinking.
Pros often use mudjacking or polyurethane foam injection to level a sunken concrete patio. Both methods lift the slab by filling voids beneath it. After properly compacting the soil beneath it to prevent future settling, the concrete may need to be removed and re-poured for severe sinking.
