"After reading several of the reviews on the company, I emailed a request for an estimate, sending a picture of the water-damaged area of the ceiling. Paul responded early the next day via phone and subsequently sent me an email with cost and approximate scheduling. I agreed on the price, and Paul and his assistant came two days later. The job took about one and half hours. They draped off the area to protect the furniture and area rug and hallway. The work was so professional that we talked about repainting our deck, which we would like to schedule next spring. I have dealt with many contractors over the years and Paul Drywall was easily in the top one percent concerning ease of working with, professionalism, and expertise.

"I have had over 30 contractors at my home as it has been basically rebuilt.  This company has been the most professional i have dealt with.  Showed up on time, communicated progress, cleaned up at the end of each day COMPLETELY, came with all necessary tools and supplies.
Along the width of the house, all of the walls were removed from the floor to aprox 2 feet.  Lower portion of studs and base plates removed, walls sealed with amazing product, studs, base plate and walls replaced (not the sheetrock).  All lower level floors sealed.
We have had over 5" of rain in the last 24 hours.  This is the first time since i have owned this house that the floors have not flooded when we have saturated soil and heavy rain.

"Alamo Stone Art has continually amazed me with their outstanding craftsmanship, overall work,  and customer service.   They are now completing their third job for us now.  On each project, we contracted with Lone Star State Construction (LSSC) as the general contractor, who subcontracted the countertop work to Alamo Stone Art.  LSSC does an outstanding job and is reviewed separately. This particular review pertains to Alamo Stone Art's work on our kitchen countertops.  This is a family-owned and operated business. We worked with Yvonne to select the granite.  We began the project with the idea of replacing the formica countertops and trying to match granite with the existing quartz island countertop.  Yvonne was very patient in explaining how to go about selecting the proper granite and spent hours answering our endless questions.  After listening to my concerns and the desired outcome of the project, she took us to look at granite slabs and was able to quickly pick out several options that would work well with our cabinets, hardwood floors, and the existing quartz.  She very carefully explained the various levels of granite and was quick to point out which selections were not Level 1, as specified in our scope of work with LSSC.  In the end, we decided to use a higher level of granite and replace the quartz countertop, which caused our costs to increase, but the results were incredible.  Our countertops look awesome and go with the kitchen perfectly.   I liked the fact that Yvonne was very upfront about the increase in cost that would be involved and provided a list of pros and cons to consider in our decision making process.   The results far surpassed our expectations in many ways. 
Philipe managed the demolition and removal of the existing countertops as well as the installation of the granite countertops.    He and the rest of the work crew were very professional and worked very carefully not to damage our cabinets.   He was concerned about being able to remove the large quartz island countertop without breaking the quartz slab and made no promises that it would work out.  However, within an hour, he and the workers had it and the plywood that had been underneath it leaning undamaged in our garage.  They even cleared a space for it and fabricated supports to keep it in place -- I had not done so, because I truly doubted that they would be able to save the piece!  The installation was done very well.  The only seam in the granite is almost invisible -- you have to run your fingers along it to feel the seam to figure out where it is.   They handled the installation of the granite in our kitchen corner very carefully -- the slab is large, the corner deep, with the kitchen sink cut in the middle.  Their measurements were spot-on.  Everything fit perfectly.   Our countertops look fabulous!
