"Great company, quick and very good communication. This is our 3rd project with them. They insulated our attic, shop and subfloor underneath the house. Very pleased with the way the foam looks in the shop and how it keeps it cool. Use them, you wonâ t be disappointed."

"He was the very first one to call after our email inquiry. On the day of the appointment he called to say he would be earlier than expected. Entered the attic through the garage, not leaving a mess in the house. He was fair, honest and provided a good service for a fair price. As far as I can tell his work was outstanding."

"I called them for my garage on a Wednesday, they scheduled me for Saturday morning. Showed up at the time they said. Got right to work. There is no gaps in the metal all are filled. They sprayed 1 in closed cell on walls and roof. The price is unmatched by anyone. Definitely worth calling them. I'd use them again."

"It is a a rare occurrance these days  when a company actually provides professional services.  The owner, Alvaro, was a pleasure to work with.  The employees at BluSky are an amazing group of men, who are clearly skilled craftsman.  My house was insulated on the exterior and synthetic stucco was applied.  It now looks almost like a real adobe house; with the curves around the windows, etc.
I hate to say that I have no complaints whatsoever, as I will be using them again, and with all the postive responses about this company, they are going to be completely booked!

Insulation questions, answered by experts

The best type of insulation for your home depends on your specific needs, climate, and the area you are insulating. For new construction, structural insulated panels are a highly energy-efficient option that is easy to install during the building process. In very warm climates, reflective insulation can be a cost-effective choice. For cold climates, fiberglass is an excellent option due to its high R-value and resistance to settling over time. Spray foam works well in humid environments because of its moisture-resistant properties. For standard attics, loose-fill, spray foam, or blown-in insulation are all suitable options.

A dehumidifier can reduce condensation on your ductwork by lowering humidity levels in the air. Condensation occurs when humid, warm air makes contact with cold ducts. A dehumidifier can help maintain your home's indoor humidity below or around 50%, minimizing moisture buildup. However, if condensation is caused by leaks, cracks, or other damage, a dehumidifier won’t solve the problem.

Single-pane windows might let in the cold, but if you’re not ready for a long-term solution or window replacement, there are quick fixes to keep your space warmer. Start by sealing gaps with weatherstripping or caulking around the frame to block drafts. For an extra barrier, apply window insulation film to the glass, trapping an air pocket between the film and the window. Thick curtains or thermal drapes can also help keep the chill at bay. And if you’re in a pinch and looking to get creative, bubble wrap can provide a surprisingly effective layer of insulation—just spritz the window with water and press it on, bubble side in.

Also known as sound-dampening blankets, acoustic blankets reduce echo in a room. They come in different thicknesses and materials, and they can be nailed or glued to walls.

Yes. Bathroom insulation requires a vapor barrier. As a matter of fact, bathrooms and kitchens are the two areas of the home that should always get a vapor barrier because of the excess moisture. If you don’t have a vapor barrier in place in these rooms, the moisture will build up and eventually lead to mold and bacteria, not to mention the destruction of the insulation.
