"Highly recommended! I had a rental property that needed extensive work and Marcus and his team completed the project quickly & professionally. Very affordable for the amount of work completed and the most affordable in the area that I found out of 3 other companies. Definitely satisfied with the results and experience!"

"A wonderful experience with Energy Home Pros. the salesman was very clear in explaining everything and the work crew did the job in less time than originally scheduled. The also cleaned up everything, put back the blinds and also had us inspect the work and demonstrated the window operation."

"We did quite an extensive home upgrade - moved plumbing, moved walls, changed ceiling and walls texture, added windows, and completely gutted the exterior garage to turn into a nice insulated workshop. Innovo Rennovations listened to everything we asked for and offered suggestions when needed. They are wonderfully flexible to work with and strive to deliver a quality product. We reported some things we were not happy with at the final walk through, but Kurt and team rallied everyone quickly to fix everything without any further issues. They stand behind the work, they deliver, and are great to work with."

"Getting a walk in tub is expensive no matter who you use. My experience thus far is with installation only and I must say my install went great. It has been over a month and no issues with my tub so I cannot comment on repair process with American Standard."

"All is awesome they responded and they ***** and determine that they wont be able to fix it and they replace the system they accomplished in 4 days. They were very professional they were here a couple of time, on time and up front on what they were doing and how long it will and how much it will cost ."

Affordable Plumbers questions, answered by experts

To test for toilet leaks, use water coloring in the water tank and see if the water slips into the bowl from the tank. This test will indicate if there’s a problem with the flapper or refill tube. You can also put water coloring in the bowl of the toilet to see if there is a leak there. If there is, you should see the colored water on the outside of the toilet bowl or on the floor.

You should check water pressure twice a year to ensure there aren’t any irregularities and that it isn’t too high. It’s also smart to check it any time you notice symptoms of high water pressure (like banging pipes, inconsistent water flow, and leaky fixtures). Similarly, if you live in an area that’s prone to water pressure fluctuations due to municipal supply changes, elevation, or seasonal temperature shifts, check it more frequently. You can buy an affordable water pressure gauge and check the water pressure yourself.

To help your plumber understand your situation quickly and help facilitate your repair, you should be ready with your name, address, whether the plumbing problem is an emergency, whether you tried to fix the problem yourself and the steps you took, and your availability for the plumber to pay a visit.

Yes, a water leak poses a major fire risk at your home because water is a conductor of electricity. Water that comes into contact with sparks or electrical wires can instantly ignite flammable materials. Additionally, any type of exposure to water can cause wires and other electrical components within your home to corrode. When assessing categories of water damage, it's important to know that even a small amount of moisture near wiring could cause sparks that lead to a fire.

You can use normal solder, which consists of a tin and copper alloy, on copper pipes. You should avoid using leaded solder, especially if you're soldering together water supply lines, as it will contaminate drinking water. One way to test if your copper pipes contain lead is to scrape off the solder. If the scraped area is shiny, it likely contains lead.
