"Didn't call to confirm my appointment (made 3 weeks prior) and charged me $100 to cancel. I told them I'd forgotten about the appointment and asked why they didn't bother to confirm it. They said they don't confirm appointments. I told them it's customary to call the day before and I reminded them that they were supposed to come out to give a quote 3 weeks prior, and didn't call to cancel in advance. I'd had to call them instead, 2 hours after they were supposed to be there. I wasn't compensated for my time then, but they expect me to pay a cancellation fee for an appointment they didn't bother to confirm."
