Molly Maid BCS

Didn't call to confirm my appointment (made 3 weeks prior) and charged me $100 to cancel. I told them I'd forgotten about the appointment and asked why they didn't bother to confirm it. They said they don't confirm appointments. I told them it's customary to call the day before and I reminded them that they were supposed to come out to give a quote 3 weeks prior, and didn't call to cancel in advance. I'd had to call them instead, 2 hours after they were supposed to be there. I wasn't compensated for my time then, but they expect me to pay a cancellation fee for an appointment they didn't bother to confirm.

When I arrived a few days later for move in, the house did not appear to have been cleaned. There were what looked like toothpaste spots on the sinks, there were hairs in the tubs, dog hair in the carpet, food stains in the microwave, etc. I did specifically ask for a 2 hour limit, but we agreed to limit the cleaning to the kitchen, bathrooms, and floors. Because of the state of the place, I spent a couple hours after moving in redoing the cleaning that I had already paid for. I think what was most disappointing is that when I called the company on Monday I was told that my only options were a re-clean (I already did it) or to get $20 off five services if I booked them again. The representative also didn’t acknowledge that this situation was really upsetting or apologize until I specifically prompted her for it. I know that no service provider can be perfect, but I am highly disappointed that there was no attempt to remedy that fact that I paid for something that was so clearly not done. I could go into much more detail about the interaction, but suffice to say that I will be using individual owned cleaning companies from now on, and I recommend you find an alternative to Molly Maid as well!

The initial clean was good, however the service went downhill from there and after the initial clean the service was consistently subpar. On the last occasion that I used Molly Maid, the service was very lacking and when I returned from out-of-town and reported the problems I was told, "too bad", I had not contacted the office within the 24-hour service guarantee time frame. This situation made it clear to me that the Molly Maid employees and management really didn't care if they provided good service.......I cancelled and have found a better service provider.

They were wonderful.

When the company first came their story sounded good, all woodwork, window sills, fans tile floors. The first time they had to do a redo. They had none of their own supplies, but used mine. After leaving a room rug outside, I let them go. I'm 80 and can't always do everything myself, but I do it better. Elly Slavinsky

Previous renters had trashed house, they spent 3 hours cleaning 3 years worth of tenants not cleaning house.

I think they do an overall great job. They are reasonable with pricing.

The manager said that was his best crew. He said that they never got any complaints. One of the women admitted that they missed some spots and they would stay. There was no time to stay because I needed to start the event. I told him that I let him know how serious and important this event was. I thought I could trust him. Instead of being able to shower before the event, I had to clean then just spray perfume.

It was obvious things that they missed. It was very upsetting. I think if he was a little sincere or worked with me I would have been a little happier. However he was rude. After I emailed him about putting him on Angie's List, I did not receive a response back.

The thing that blows me the most away was that it was 4 women for 3 hours.
