The Cleaning Fairy

The date I entered was their first week cleaning here.  I hired them based on the recommendation of the pet sitter I have worked with for many years.  Nanette, the owner, responded promptly to my call.  She was able to give me a preliminary estimate over the phone based on my response to some questions, and she and her husband came to the house at an appointed time to get familiar with the property and confirm the estimate (which was spot on).  They went over their agreement with me, which includes policies for cancellation, the types of work they will and won't do, etc. as well as a checklist that they leave behind after every cleaning of what was done.  They noted the names of the people who live in the house, the names of the dogs, etc.  They also call the evening before each cleaning as a reminder that they will be coming to the property the next day.
They charge a higher initial cleaning fee and spend most of a day cleaning from top to bottom.  After that, they stick to the regular fee unless you ask them to do something special (I had them clean the fridge for an extra $10 once).  The $112 fee I listed in my review is for a cleaning of my home every two weeks, the house is about 2,300 sf of living space, has three bedrooms, 2.5 baths, dining room, full kitchen.
I leave fresh sheets on the beds and they make the beds and bring the old linens down to my laundry.
They are also great with dogs, which is important as I have three!
After about three cleanings, I have been satisfied enough to increase their services to weekly.
