Then Landmark sent Brenovations HVAC for an AC motor replacement, and that turned into exposed wires, bolts hitting fan blades, missing parts, and complete disregard for safety near my kids? play area. Both companies were unprofessional, negligent, and refused accountability. Landmark?s use of these contractors makes me seriously question the value of having a home warranty at all."

The good news is that, yes, you can change locks yourself. Many people find it’s an easy DIY project that requires few tools and not much expense (depending on which lock you’re installing). If you have trouble with any part of an installation, you can always call a locksmith to help finish installing them.

You may be able to get a broken key out of a lock by yourself, depending on the situation. If a portion of the key is still protruding from your lock, try lubricating the keyway and using pliers or even a bobby pin to pull the key out of the hole.
