"I entered into an agreement with Adam to install an irrigation system and sod at my home. We agreed to a lump sum for both jobs, with me paying his requested amount for the irrigation system and the remainder to be paid when the sod was installed. The irrigation system was installed and that work paid for, but the morning that the sod work was scheduled to be done, I received a text from Adam saying that he was cancelling the work because he had thought about it and decided that I was not paying him enough for the work. It seems to me like Adam agreed to sod installation (which was a good price) to win my business for the irrigation system (which was market price). This is bad business and a bad way to treat people, especially customers."

"Everything went great from a call from Chris and a very fast response to come out. He did he measurements and got back with a design plan. Once we agreed he started when he said and completed the project as said. Made a few small changes along the way and I understood there would be a change or order fee but it was worth it. His vision in a plan with what I had just talked about I wanted was spot on. Yes I would and will hire him again. Another decision helper for me was that he is a veteran and that is big when it comes down to looking at estimates."

He came by as promised, took notes on what we wanted, which was minor compared to the work he had already done, and said he would get back to us. Never heard from him again. "Alex Blaker and his team were referred to me by ADU small home sales person in Austin Tx. My project was creating additional barrier walls in a home for the PadSplit app. We had to add 3 electrical outlets, as well as connect a clothes washer that required all lines electrical and water to be ran. Alex was cordial, easy to work with and genuinely cares about the work and level of craftsmanship that goes into the project. You will meet Dario and others on his team who are incredibly polite, clean, and efficient. Project was completed in a little over a week. Budget: initial bid around $7800 + taxes, two owner approved add ons elevated the project around $600. (Plug relocation, and dryer vent routing) Payment was made in 3 payments over the life of the project. I like this as it lets you see the project be started first. Alex kept me in the loop every day and came over in person to inspect, and recommend updates to the job. Happy to work with Alex and his team and look forward to working with them on future projects!"
