"We had Bam Bam come by to discuss a bathroom remodel. We did receive a bathroom plan and a quote from them, but the quote did not have any breakdown of material cost vs. labor cost. 
I have no problem paying for good service, but without separating material costs vs. labor costs, we did not want to use Bam Bam for our remodel. There is a major conflict of interest doing it this way, in my opinion--every dollar that gets saved on materials (e.g., cheaper bathroom fixtures) is a dollar in the remodeler's pocket. I don't think this is a good dynamic, and it was for this reason that we chose to look elsewhere for the full job."
