Hello, allow me to help you get back on track. I am the owner of my business and my father works with me to keep me focused and my feet on the ground. I provide general remodel services, as well as contract work. I am registered through the city for contract purposes. We do basic electrical services as well as ability to upgrading panel services to outlets, fixtures, decks, ect. We can also lay tile, build walk in showers, lay laminated flooring, repair/install drywall. We also have hassle and mess free popcorn ceilings removal. We also do texture, paint, and removal/installation of trim. We are able to place roll insulation if your roof is leaking, as well as make repairs to existing roofs. Siding questions, answered by experts

Yes, mixing siding types will affect your home value, and in most cases, it will improve curb appeal and add to the value of your home. This is especially true if you get the benefit of the high-end appearance of brick or stone siding but save on siding costs by covering most of the exterior with more affordable vinyl or fiber cement.

Regular washing and quick repair of damaged areas to maintain appearance.

Vinyl siding requires the cheapest upfront costs. The cost to install vinyl siding is $12,173 on average, with vinyl clapboard and vinyl dutch lap costing as low as $2 per square foot. While metal siding is more expensive from the get-go, it can ultimately save you money as its life span is typically over double that of vinyl siding.

Generally speaking, the thicker the siding, the higher the quality. Thicker siding provides a stronger resistance against extreme weather conditions. Thicker siding also tends to fade more slowly under the sun. Hardie boards, a popular fiber cement siding option, is usually 5/16 inches thick. Meanwhile, masonry-finished cement siding varies from 5/8 to 5/8 inches thick.

Hardie board is more expensive than vinyl siding. Vinyl siding costs $3 to $12 per square foot, on average, with cost skewing toward the lower end of that range. Hardie board siding costs $7 to $18 per square foot, depending on the style, color, and trim. However, it lasts twice as long and often looks nicer, meaning you’ll see a higher bump in your home value and greater curb appeal from Hardie board.
