"Communication was wonderful. They were quick to respond and send a quote and were also patient while I waited for quotes from other providers. Once I had my mind made up, Ann was able to schedule the work for the following day. She called to let me know exactly who was going to be completing the project and what time they were going to arrive. The work was completed quickly and the quality was excellent."

"Charlie and his team were exceptional.   I've not seen this quality is many years of working with vendors.  I cannot tell you how refreshing this experience has been.
The job was pretty extensive interior and exterior, and was extremely $$$ reasonable. for the work that was done.
Charlie group is full service:  masonry, painting, drywall and wood work.   All work completed on time, even with the inclement weather we have been experiencing over the past month.
I would highly recommend Charlie and his team.

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

Regular sealing and repainting help maintain the restored surface’s durability.

Costs depend on surface material, labor, debris disposal, and the type of blasting media used.

Because these two systems have different applications, there is no definitive answer to which is better. When working with sturdy materials, sandblasting is cheaper and faster, but more delicate projects require soda blasting. Before choosing either option, consider your specific needs, particularly your ultimate goal (cleaning, removing rust, prepping for painting, etc.), the material, and your budget.

The best way to sand a deck is by cleaning it, sanding the boards and stairs with 60- or 80-grit sandpaper, and sanding the railings and posts with 80-grit sandpaper. You should sand in the direction of the wood grain to avoid damaging the timber. When sanding your deck, use medium pressure and aim for an even sand. Pressing too hard with a sander can damage decks, as most are softwoods.

If you’re DIYing the project, it could take up to a week if you aren’t able to dedicate full-time hours. If you hire a professional and they arrive with a team, expect your stairs to be sanded in as little as 2 hours (for simple projects). Finishing the stairs takes a while longer as there are drying and sealing times to consider, but the actual work will take much less time than the sanding portion.
