The sub ended up ghosting both me and Sentri, leaving me stuck with a ruined carpet. Sentri stuck with me for over a month to get the carpet replaced with the identical original and to get the vinyl job 100% completed. The carpet was a Home Depot exclusive and Sentri handled everything with them. I will be using Sentri for a much bigger renovation I have coming up soon, because I know that they will make sure everything gets done right no matter what problems come up. After finding his contact information on Angie's List and checking out his website, I contacted Mr. Westbrook by email on a Sunday afternoon and got a call from him the same day.  We agreed that he would stop by my home to discuss a Master Suite addition the following Thursday evening, which was the first time I was available. 

I am a former custom home builder and had a good idea about what I wanted, but I was looking for someone who had both the design and building skills to complete the project to my demanding standards.  When Mr. Westbrook arrived precisely on time in the pouring rain, I quickly realized that he knew exactly what he was talking about and his personality was perfect for the job.  Within about 5 minutes, Mr. Westbrook became Wally and I felt as if I had known him for years.

Several times over the next few days, we exchanged sketches of the proposed project and I was extremely pleased with the results.  With just a builder's sketch of my existing floor plan, dimensions from an appraisal and a few photographs that Wally took during our initial meeting, he was quickly able to create a 3 dimensional plan and elevation of my existing home which he used to design the new addition.

The scope of work included a major expansion of the covered porch and Master Bedroom, adding an adjacent 15' X 15' sitting room and adding a new pool bath.  Within just a few days, Wally submitted the preliminary design which was exactly what I had envisioned.  His plan matched the current design perfectly, and complemented the existing roof plan very well--which proved his expertise in both design and construction.   

After integrating a few ideas that I had provided and making some revisions that he had suggested, Wally prepared the final plans and elevations for the HOA and permit review.  From the first visit to the final review, it was obvious to me that Wally had the necessary skill set and commitment to do the job well and to meet my specific expectations.   It is rare to find someone these days who is so committed to his work, but Wally exceeded even my expectations. Overall, it was a real pleasure to do business with him, and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone who is considering a major addition to their home.

"I was needing to sell a property that I had been renting for the last 7 years and needed it rehabilitated before I could place it on the market. I live out of state and needed someone that could manage the project for me and keep me informed with all the details. Started calling contractors and came across M&M Upgrades. Spoke to Marcel, who I believe is the owner, and I was immediately put at ease with his approach, attention to detail and patience with my endless questions. Not once did I feel any evasiveness on his part as I had with other contractors, just straight forward , clear and honest. He was able to handle all the work that needed to me done, truly a one stop solution. He walked me around the house via iPhone Face-Time and showed me the work as it progressed. As for the work itself...it came out beautiful and flawless. The interior paint was pristine, including all trim and base boards. He even re painted the AC/Heating vents. He was able to remove an entire room that was built the third bay garage by the prior tenant. You would never know that room was there when he was completed. Furthermore, I was on a tight time table as I needed to get this place on the market. He started the project the immediately and was finished ahead of schedule. I also have to say he did a bunch of extra things for me without charging me above his original quote. Marcels fees were also reasonable, especially when you consider the level of experience, quality and professionalism you get. At no point did I feel the project was out of hand or beyond his scope. This provided me a degree of confidence and most importantly ease of mind. Can't say enough positive things about M&M and more specifically Marcel. He really earned my business from the start and delivered on his promises. You can tell this guy really cares about his company and relies on the reputation of his work and level of service. With zero hesitation, this is the man I'd hire for any future jobs. BTW, my home was on the Market for 3 days before getting my asking price and I'm scheduled to close by the end of next month. "Maria did a walkthrough of our home and helped us discover mold in our walls immediately after the hurricane. She promptly brought in someone to rip out the impacted walls. She brought in the teams needed to replace our floors as well. The process was very quick and the end result was very good. We get compliments all the time on how great our house now looks. She also helped us landscape our yard and brought in someone to install a new pergola and sitting area. "Everything was fair. I’m not 100% happy because when she came here, she gave us the estimate and she said she can do everything when we asked, but the thing is we paint, she don’t find the right painting so we don’t spots. We don’t just want to deal with something, when somebody say they can find the right color and everything. My husband and I say we okay and everything, we just leave it like that, but I really not happy 100% because she fixed everything. We don’t have any cracks any more, but the paint is important to match because she said she wants to paint the whole wall and everything, but she don’t say that when contract for repair. She finds the color, the best she can, but in some groups the differences are very, very, we can see the differences. At least something kind of similar, but you can see the difference very clear. When you get in the room you can see the biggest part and she said, oh no, I already tell the contract she sent a person and the guy he said I can’t repaint because I already did my job. She brings that color and this is the color I just paint, so I said, but when you paint and you see a different color, why you continue paint. I don’t feel happy because this is the way we have to do business. What I said, my husband and I, we decide don’t complain or don’t say anything but now you ask me. I tell exactly my concern. This is something we don’t was happy. At least probably close. I was very sick at that time. I have a problem with one of my tooth’s, so I was spent most of my time in the bed, but when I started to check and everything, I just tell her downstairs. Because it’s very important that the living room and the social area, this is a very nice house, we don’t a want a spot where when you get into the house you can see a spot, and say oh no what is going on in here. And she tried very hard, and she did she helped in that, but upstairs in the rooms, she don’t want to do it. She don’t want to repaint and the guy said, I can’t do it for free. But this is not my business. I don’t contract him. I contract her so I told him, I’m sorry but I mean, I’m asking you do it right. And he said, she bring that paint, so in that moment I said you know that paint is no match with the wall you painted you have to stop immediately and let her know not continue do it and then, oh no…I don’t want to do it anymore. At least very, very close. Some colors you can see the difference right away. But she was very nice and she tried hard downstairs when I just called her attention she did in here. I’m glad I just called it to her attention, but upstairs was kind of late, because she don’t want to do it again and he don’t want to do it again either. But my husband and I, we said just, we don’t want a problem you know. We asking everything before, if she can do it, and she said yes. She gave a price. She said she can start right away the next Monday I think because she came on the weekend. I think so the next week she started and she doing everything. When she start, she start the job on time and I think she doing great. My husband and I, I'm the kind of person we always need to be right in the beginning and the end. Never change because that means you are not trustful to that person. So when she left and she don't even say bye to me. She disappear and the only, the guy he start and I was really quick with checking. And I said look, you don't do it here, something I don't remember, so he said okay and he do it really quick and then he say okay bye. So, I don't want to call her anymore to say you even don't bye, you even don't say if I'm happy with the job, no. They finished exactly the next Friday, so it was the whole week. She said 3 days, but that was pending on the time because the guy he was very careful he doing, so I was happy. He finished his job. He was very careful he doing the job. Only the end was when they don’t say, check if you are happy, if everything is okay. So, she don’t let me telling her what I tell you. When somebody do a job, they supposed to say, are you happy and everything is okay, so we just. Actually, one part of the ceiling of my room is something, the lady who help me who clean the house, she was the one who called my attention and say ma’am, in here look they don’t finish right there, I say oh my gosh. We was happy because the price was reasonable and we think compared to the other two was a good price. Not too cheap and not too expensive. Because what we want is the house done, small cracks done, don’t be around in different rooms, so she offered a good deal for us. The quality was not very good quality, because the paint is what you see immediately. So, the quality is, every time I saw that, I feel like no happy. When you happy, when you see something somebody do for you and you happy it’s because the way you want it, but when you see something and just kind of, oh my gosh…this color is not like that. I don’t think it’s a 100%. Because cracks is good, but the finish of the work is not 100%, is not A. She don’t take responsibility. She gave excuse and then last minute when my husband asked her about that, and then she complete a sentence telling us the paint never is going to be the same and my husband say, but you don’t say that in the beginning and she said, but I didn’t know that would happen. I just saw each other and my husband said no you don’t talk with her, we don’t want to just continue the conversation because we saw she don’t get responsibility, she don’t give professionalism and she avoids the right. When somebody asks her a question like that she needs to at least say, oh I’m sorry, but what she do is trying to convince us that this the way that it is and this is wrong. Because this is not the way that it is. This is the way that she did us. She don’t want to excuse the situation she want to avoid and she wants to let us know we are the ones, we don’t have a concept and this is wrong because she don’t answer right. She don’t say that when she do the estimate, she say that she is going to do everything exactly the way that we want and that is why we contracted her. When she started doing those things and we just called her attention, she don’t want to take responsibility she wants just situation like that, but we did let her know what we wanted. Her punctuality was okay. One day they don’t work in the morning, they came late because the works or he has something to do or something like that. I just don’t think that she is very professional because she just don’t have to do what she did to us. This is not what to do to be a professional. A professional is when they do it excellent. When they do you whatever. So, I have a sister. My sister, she’s architect and she said sometimes she lose money, but she wants the customer to be so happy, maybe I don’t know exactly what I was expecting, but I have to do it because if the person make a mistake or break something then she pay. So, this is professional. But this disappear and don’t say bye, I don’t think this is too professional. I don’t think I would use her again. It was just her and the person that she contracted doing the work. The work took one week. They start Monday and they finished late Friday. My husband wrote a check for the down payment and then when they finished, my husband gave them the rest of the money. I think the deal was like that. They doing great at everything except the paint match and it is something she don’t seal in my room. The addition between the ceiling and the wall was connected and there was little cracks so we asked that they fill in all these cracks, so she did in most of the rooms, but it was just in one little room they forget to do it and I don’t see it, my maid, the lady who help me she told me about. She called my attention about it so I said, oh yeah, they forget. T"

"We had approximately 2 acres of land in Spring TX for 2 years planing in building a new house .. We didn't had the right budget to begin to build a new home. We have got this company information form some of my friends and we called
them to receive an estimate.. They gave us a good price and the advice  us as they do help with loan approval drowning and design. Afterwords we decided to go with them and we ended very happy for the result we have now it took a little longer then we expected but finally we can move in to a new house.

"I was dry-walling my garage and needed help and wanted to finish it asap.  I had another contractor out who did great work but they were booked for two weeks so decided to try and get someone else out as I wanted it finished.  Called DR Renovations up to setup an appointment, talked to Danny the owner and he said he would be in the area later that day and had time to come by and give me a quote.  Around 4pm that day got a call back from Danny that he was at my house and after having looked at everything he could get all my garage walls/ceiling ready to paint for $400 and it would take a day.  He said he had two guys ready to do the job tomorrow so I gave him the green light.  He called his guy to make arrangement's and called me back to say his guy Hector would be there at 7:30am tomorrow morning.  The only issue I had was the guys had not showed up at 7:45am and I needed to get to work so called Danny and he called back and said he was not able to reach his guy but they were for sure on the way.  It was raining hard so not surprised there was a delay.  At almost noon I had to call Danny back as I had not heard anything if they had made it or not (He did sounds like he was sick), he said they were there working so I headed that way.  
Got to the house and met Hector and his helper.  I got a good look and was very happy with their work and he told me they would be done in about 2-3 hours, I was a little skeptical as there was still a lot of sanding and mudding to do but they clearly knew what they were doing so left to go back to work.  Got home after work that night and checked all the work out and was very impressed.  
They did a great job, I am very happy.  The only thing they could improve on was the communications, The work itself was A+.
