"I highly recommend Matt Manning and M&M BUILDERSTX LLC! I’ve used their services for several projects—roof replacement, a bathroom upgrade, new flooring, and siding repair—and every experience has been excellent from start to finish. Matt is professional, responsive, and takes pride in doing the job right. The roof was replaced quickly and efficiently, the bathroom remodel turned out beautifully, the new flooring looks amazing, and the siding repairs gave my home a clean, refreshed look. It’s rare to find a contractor who’s this reliable, honest, and skilled across so many types of work. If you want quality craftsmanship and a team that truly cares about your home, M&M BUILDERSTX LLC is the one to call!"

"Excellent. Honest and quick work. Mr. King was able to get someone out on short notice, to shim/shiv the piers. They performed a full scale cleanup last year, and I will only use Basement kings for any of my crawlspace work. Best in Texas!"

"I decided not to go with Re-bath.  The cost was what I would call unreasonable.  I went with a local contractor who did all the plumbing, tile work, replacement of toilet, sink and rerouting of plumbing for 6 grand.  The work is beautiful and I am beyond happy with the finished product.

Unfinished Carpentry questions, answered by experts

Installing an ornamental or decorative porch column takes around three to five hours. Structural columns take longer because your pro has to install a jack to hold up the roof while switching the column out. If there's any structural damage, it can add several days to the timeline to repair the damage.

For a professional carpenter, installing a window seat can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days, depending on some aspects of the project. Aside from building the seat itself, if they have to remove any cabinets, shelves, or baseboards, that will add time to the project.

The cost to frame a 2,000-square-foot house can fall anywhere between $14,000 and $32,000. This price can increase or decrease depending on what type of framing you choose, the quality of the materials, the project's complexity, and whether you decide to hire a professional to do the job.

When choosing a drywall anchor, consider the weight of the object you're hanging and how much weight the anchor will need to support. The heavier the weight, the stronger the anchor you'll need. You’ll find the weight capacity on the packaging when shopping for anchors.

Also, remember that you can use more than one anchor when hanging something on the wall. If you're using multiple anchors, divide the object weight by the number of anchors to determine how much each will need to support. If you need help deciding which drywall anchor to use, you can hire a handyperson to hang your objects.

An A-frame home can be cheaper to build than a traditional house, but that is not always a given. Prices can be fairly similar in some cases, depending on the location, design, and necessary site preparation. Costs for an A-frame typically run between $100 to $200 per square foot, which is comparable to the cost of a traditional home. The cost of an A-frame can come in under those numbers if you opt for a prefabricated kit.
