"Shield Contracting / Construction guys are the very best. I got 6 different quotes. While I trust most of the workers from Angi / Home Advisor ... it's always best to get as many estimates as possible and talk with the business to get a better understand of the business and what work is really needed. Thomas gave me the real scoop on what was needed on my roof. Three of the five roofing companies that came wanted to charge me for a new roof. Thomas fixed more things for me than agreed to and did not charge me more money. They did excellent work. They gave me the best price using the very best products on my roof. A lot less than everyone else wanted to charge me."

"After inspecting my ductwork , he was very honest and straightforward about what I needed, and didnâ t try to take advantage of my lack of knowledge of ductwork, which I appreciated. He kept his appointment and completed the work in the forecasted time he said. I would hire this guy again without question."

Qualified, licensed electricians will charge from $50 to $100 per hour. The cost to hire an electrician for emergency visits may range from $100 to $200 per hour because this urgent service usually takes place during off hours and may require an electrician to leave or reschedule jobs they’re currently working on. Scheduling work on holidays or during periods of high customer demand, like after a major storm, will also lead to higher rates or extra fees.
