We are a small company the consists of only three employees. We normally do all the work required on a jobsite unless a third party is required for other services we don't offer. We except most methods of billing procedures. Materials must me purchased by customer needed for the job. Customer will only be charged for labor or special materials mentioned in the job contract!

Our company is an A+ accredited buisness with the BBB. We are experts in painting, trim carpentry, tile, wood/laminate/ vinyl and tile flooring. We also do bathroom remodels. We use a contract on all jobs and require a 50 percent down payment to start job.

"They said it would be a 3 day job. The first day they were there for 90 minutes. The second day they didn't show at all. The third they were there for 5 hours. Because they were so far behind and in a hurry to finish they pretty much threw the shower in, it doesn't align and they lied to my husband and said the shower door only could be installed one way, when in fact it would work opening to the left or the right. Then they asked for more money because the job took longer than expected."

In some cases, a detached garage can be considered extra living space, but you will need to gain permission and comply with your local building code. Depending on where you live, you may need permits for a variety of installations, including electrical work, plumbing, and structural work. Many homeowners make the mistake of converting a garage into a living space without acquiring permits, which can result in hefty fines and even the removal of your hard work. Furthermore, a detached garage doesn’t add to the livable square footage of your home when it’s time to sell.

With good maintenance, garage doors can last for 15 to 30 years. You might consider a replacement if yours is approaching that age and struggling to work properly. For instance, if your garage door is slow to open or close (or doesn’t open or close at all) or is loud even after lubricating the parts, you might need a new one. Similarly, if it’s sagging, uneven, or has other visual signs of wear and tear, it may be time for an upgrade.

With the exception of small, lightweight torsion-spring garage doors, which can operate with one spring, most garage doors require two springs to work properly. Garage doors with extension springs always require two springs—if one extension spring is broken or otherwise failing, the garage door may open unevenly and could pose a hazard if the remaining spring fails.

Garage door freezing is prompted by snowfall and freeze/thaw cycles instead of the temperature. If you get a lot of moisture around the garage door, whether from rain or melting snow, and temperatures quickly drop below freezing (32 degrees Fahrenheit) at night, that’s a recipe for a frozen garage door. Winters with steep temperature drops overnight are more likely to create this problem, especially low temperatures to sustain a freeze, so weather in the lower 20s is a common culprit.

You have a few options of paint for garage doors. Acrylic paint offers excellent UV- and weatherproof resistance, easily adheres to surfaces, and dries quickly. However, it has limited color options available and requires multiple coats. Oil-based paints last long, are easy to apply, and may only need one coat, but dry slowly and emit more VOCs. Latex offers superior color reflection, available in a wide range of colors, and it’s highly forgiving. However, latex can crack and peel over time and may need a primer for even coverage.
