"This ended up being a 1-day effort by 4-5 men, led by Larry Means (brother of Charles, who did all the contact work).  
They accomplished all of the above from 8:30 AM to about 4 PM including cleanup.
We were pleased that the hot water heater door could be repaired and not replaced - some estimates of replacement of this 24" door (vented) were above $1000.  It was Larry's thinking that made it possible - he has the mind of a handy man - do what can be done rather than grand plans that lift the costs.  Replacing of facia, some flashing and soffit went well - the painted results were great (we had painted 2 sides of the house before recognizing we were in over our heads - we provided the paint for the job as we had some already and the color would match).  Painting and caulking were of the highest order.
The mudded interior wall spot matched the existing texture - nice work.

"An estimator came out and gave us a quote Saturday morning for 7 windows facing west on our home. He offered multiple colors of screen. Something they suggested that other companies did not was different protection for the lower versus the bottom. We have windows upstairs that are not covered by a patio, these used the 90% screens. For the bottom windows that still face west but are slightly covered by the patio, they use a 80% to still let more light into the living area inside. I thought this was a great idea. Screens were installed while we were at work 3 days later, estimated completion time was 2 to 7 days based on the weather forecast for that week. I don't blame for not wanting to be on a roof during serve weather. 
The cost was lower than the other 2 estimates I received. I never flt pressured by LSSS like other solar screen companies. 
We will be doing the other side of the house next year and will go back to LSSS without question.

"We had 3 estimates done on replacing the siding on our 2-story chimney. It had been damaged by squirrels who had taken up residence (we had our exterminator come and clear out the nest and patch the holes, but the siding itself was damaged). Robert was the first one to respond, the first one to submit an estimate (it was submitted the day after the request was made...one of the other estimates didn't come in until almost a week later!), and provided us with an estimate that was significantly below the other two that came in. Aging shingles with some loss of granules and one area of sagging. Roof was eighteen years old and aging as expected in this area of the country. Hail damage was identified. Cause of sagging was discovered and excellent technical recommendations were made to correct the problem. Price estimate was accurate and satisfied our objective of a quality roof at a fair price. "Called Rhino, talked with the owner and he came out promptly for an estimate.  They were the second company I called and ended up setting up an appt the day they came by with the estimate.  The method he suggested using was much less invasive for getting the insulation under the room over the garage than what the other company wanted to do, and he could do it a lower price.  I got the feeling that Rhino was actually figuring out their cost as opposed to the first company who gave me nice big round numbers without ever doing any measurements or seeing in the attic.  The first company also was pushing a lot of extra, and very pricey, services on me.  Dirk simply asked what I needed, he made some suggestions but never was pushy about it.  Explained what we could do for getting the most bang for our buck now, and if we wanted to do more later we always could.  He and his crew showed up right on time and got to work.  Within a few hours they had finished the job and I could feel a drastic difference in the room over the garage instantly.  I had already done everything I could, but his expertise and hard work finally solved our problem.  In the process they ran into an issue where they ended up actually needing more insulation than expected, but rather than just surprise me with an inflated bill he offered without me even asking to just split the cost with him.  I was floored, to have a company that doesn't just do an install above the estimated cost and then expect to be paid.  The additional cost wasn't even very much, $100 which he split with me when he didn't have to. 
Rhino solved my problem on the first try and in a short amount of time.  If there ever comes a time when I need more insulation work or energy efficiencies added to our house, I won't even waste my time calling anyone else."

"I contacted Steve at Texas Roof and Fence last fall to get bids on my house and a rent house that had hail damage.  he was very responsive to those requests and quickly got me a bid.
I'm probably not the easiest customer to do business with and I wasn't thrilled with some of his terms and conditions so he agreed to changes I requested.  I'm not sure why but it took a few months to get his signed agreement back to me.  My impression is Steve has a lot of balls in the air and sometimes thinks he has done something he hasn't. 
The roof replacement was done last week.  I am still waiting on the barn roof and gutters which were supposed to be done this week but it's not looking like they will be.
Steve set a high bar and high expectations committing to cleaning up daily which his team didn't do.  He also told me when they cleaned up it would be spotless which it wasn't.   Steve said it was unrealistic to expect they would get more than 99% of the nails, etc.
He may have done better than most roofers would have.  I had high expectations based on the strong reviews he had on Angie's List and in Denton and his representations which fell a little short.  Not sure how much of that is because my expectations were too high and some because his crew or he didn't do what he said they would.

"I thought they did a very good job. The only complaint I had there were quite a few nails that were left behind in the street and the neighbor and I's driveway. The neighbor was more concerned than I was about the nails but I understand they couldn't get all the nails out. Other than that they were great and very professional. They knew what they were doing. They did a great job. They were friendly."
