"It went pretty well. Andrew responded quickly to my call and informed me to reschedule the appointment due to his emergency. Andrew and his assistant showed up on time and are very professional. They jet cleaned the drainage pipe in order to run the locator to find the sewer line exiting out of kitchen to the back yard. Their price is very reasonable, a lot lower than the other plumbing company that I got the quote for the same work. Highly recommend their service and will reuse them again.

"I had already taken the trap off of the piping under the sink and cleaned it out, that didn't fix the clog. Since I realized the clog was somewhere in the pipes behind the wall, I knew I needed professional help. On a Friday morning, I called several places... some of which told me they couldn't get to me until the following Tuesday, others put me on hold when I called, and most were just generally unhelpful which made me decide not to use them. I saw JR Plumbing had an A rating on Angies so I thought I'd give them a try. The owner answered the phone immediately and was able to answer questions and was able to fit me into his schedule within less than 24 hrs. When he arrived he put covers on his shoes and (with no prompting from me) was respectful of my wood floors and carried his necessary equipment instead of rolling it through my house. He was professional, polite and very reasonably priced. If I have plumbing issues in the future, I will definitely give JR Plumbing a call again."

"I bought the $200 for $89 special to have 2 leaking outside spigots replaced. He did a good job, the replacements work great and no more leaking. It did cost and extra $75 on top of the $89. But that is my fault for not double-checking exactly what I could get done for the $89 deal.
I would recommend Houston Plumbing & Gas to others. If they work with American Home Shield, I would request him for those services.

"They were AMAZING!  I could not be happier!  They did a great job, showed up on time and when they were done, I had a few minutes extra on my hour, so he even helped me with a leaky shower sprayer.  What great guys!  I would TOTALLY recommend them!  Sears wanted $175 to install a $200 microwave.  I thought we could do it ourselves, but when I got it out of the box I realized that the bracket holding in the old one was not installed correctly and it also would not fit the new microwave (even though they were the exact same make and model but a few years apart)
     When Ralph came, he and his son's had it up in a flash AND they did it right!  BRAVO!  They had to drill through some tile, and they did a great job.  They even took pictures of my St. Bernard afterwards (Love my dogs and win my heart!)
     Excellent service and really nice guys to boot!  They did not overcharge me.  At first,  I was a little afraid of the "By the hour" pricing, but they were honest and got the job done quickly! They will have all of my work in the future!
