"I was notified by my water department that there could be leak in my system somewhere. I called Enoch and they were out the same day, diagnosed the problem, and sent a technician out the next day to fix the problem. The guys were clean, punctual, and professional. I like that they send an email with the invoice and let you pay online. I will definitely hire again!!!! *This review was migrated from an affiliated account on Angi with an original submission date of 4/17/2019."

"Smart Choice Plumbing installed a new white Kohler 2 piece toilet. Provider removed the existing toilet and cleaned the area after installation. The cost was more than advertised because the toilet was upgraded from a round front toilet to an elongated toilet. Carlos, the Manager, contacted me the next day after I submitted my request.  He answered all of my questions, and we scheduled an appointment for the next day. The crew arrived on time and were very professional.  They provided an estimated completion time, and completed the job well within that time.  I would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again.  Thanks Smart Choice Plumbing.

"It went pretty well. Andrew responded quickly to my call and informed me to reschedule the appointment due to his emergency. Andrew and his assistant showed up on time and are very professional. They jet cleaned the drainage pipe in order to run the locator to find the sewer line exiting out of kitchen to the back yard. Their price is very reasonable, a lot lower than the other plumbing company that I got the quote for the same work. Highly recommend their service and will reuse them again.

"Arrived at 9 a.m. and left after 7 p.m. that night.  Paul and his crew worked in 100 degree heat to get this huge job done in one day!  After the job was done, Paul and his crew stayed and cleaned everything to perfection!  When Paul was here a few days ago replacing the thermostat on our gas water heater, I mentioned to him about the collapsed sewer line under the house.  He finished the water heater and then checked out the sewer line.  After surveying the situation, he came up with a great idea to repair the line and save us money.  This job had been bid by another company for $12,000.  Paul did it for $3000.  He's a genius!  Since the job lasted 10 hours, I had to leave for various errands.  I left my house unlocked and Paul in charge.  No problems.  His honesty is refreshing!  After finishing the job, he tested and re-tested to make sure everything was in perfect working order before he and his crew started the clean-up.  Next, he is going to call to give us an estimate on sheet-rocking our den and refinishing our wood floors.  Evidently, there's nothing that Paul can't do. Hire this man with confidence . . .you will be so glad you did!"

"He did an awesome job and corrected some of the problems I was having. My home is only 3 years old. He had to modify the p-traps, because they were done incorrectly. He put a cleaning chemical to clean out the pipes and smell without doing any damage to the pipes. He also flushed out the tank water heater in the attic and replaced some of the devices on the water heater. He did a real good job and was pretty quick."

Sewer Cleaning questions, answered by experts

It can take anywhere from one month to a couple of years for tree roots to grow back in sewer lines. Tree roots can cause extreme havoc on your sewer lines, potentially cracking them and causing untreated wastewater to make its way into the groundwater. Have a landscaping pro remove trees and roots before installing your system, or call a pro to do it retroactively as soon as you can.

Cat pee has a strong ammonia-like smell, so if you smell cat pee but don’t have a cat or don’t suspect your cat has any accidents, there could be other issues at hand. Aside from pet urine, your house may smell like cat pee from leaking freon from an old fridge, mold, spilled cleaning supplies, or even outside odors from nearby farms.

Some of the most common plumbing problems in mobile homes are frozen pipes, leaking pipes, clogged drains, and low pressure. Since the pipes in a mobile home aren’t as insulated as those in a standard build, they’re more susceptible to fluctuating temperatures and damage.

Depending on the home, wastewater either goes into a septic tank and seeps back into the backyard or is sent via sewer system to a local sewage-treatment plant. Septic systems naturally separate different components of the waste so that it can naturally and safely disperse it. They are usually reserved for homes not served by a municipal sewage department (like rural homes). A treatment plant, on the other hand, speeds up that process through screening and purification.

If used correctly and sparingly, root killer shouldn’t damage your pipes. Make sure to follow the instructions on the back of the bottle or the company’s website to avoid any unintended damages. However, when it comes to copper sulfate, it’s better to avoid it. This type of root killer can damage your plumbing and the surrounding environment.
