One of the things I really appreciate is that he guarantees his plants for three months and continues to monitor them, staying in contact during that period. His crew was excellent – hardworking, respectful, and very knowledgeable. They answered all my questions without hesitation, and I never once felt like I was bothering them. "Last October, my sister, an elderly veteran living alone, contracted Genie Bath Systems to remodel her master and guest baths. She was diagnosed cancer and passed before the remodel was complete. Which, to be fair as we were not able to work with Genie while attending to my sister. The contract was expensive. Very expensive. The cost of the remodel is close to 1/4th the value of her home. I noticed there were issues with the remodel that showed a surprising lack of attention to detail. Genie sent people to address the issues twice. Yet issues remain. My calls to my contact at Genie are now being ignored. Also, the only document I have for the remodel is the contract my sister signed. It is not detailed. I have and continue to ask for a breakdown of the cost. An estimate or work order. This request is also being ignored. I am disappointed and have to wonder why Genie will not provide this information. I have several other questions for Genie that I will not go into here. But based on my experience, I cannot recommend Genie. In fact I would warn anyone considering Genie to be very careful about the cost of the contract."

"AVOID THIS COMPANY! Lacks skilled labor to install railings. -Required replacement of 80% of initial install. -Posts had offset anchors w/ only 2 lag screws/plate. Screws and posts RUSTED SAME DAY. All anchors had to be replaced. -RUST DAMAGE all over our existing deck and concrete patio from discarded metal shavings. -PAINT OVERSPRAY DAMAGE. -DEEP SCRATCHES AND GOUGES in our existing deck from dragging and dropping railing. 30+ deck boards ruined. -NO COMMUNICATION for wks. Over 30 emails and dozens of calls and on-site mtgs. *They offered to replace damaged deck boards but only if we signed a RELEASE OF LIABILITY/WORKMANSHIP! *They offered to pay for and deliver new deck boards but we would STILL HAVE TO PAY FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO INSTALL. *Eventually their Sales Director claimed that we could not prove that they caused the damage to our existing deck and patio. Contrary to their worry free promise, Discount Fence DOES NOT DELIVER GREAT QUALITY and DOES NOT PROVIDE GREAT SERVICE!"

"I am taking the opportunity to express my gratitude and thanks to Allan and his team (Tom, Mike, Jerry and all others) who preformed work in my home after flooding damage resulted from a broken water line caused by the 2020 TX winter storm. Allan and his group were super responsive, knowledgeable, skilled and made the experience a positive one. They were all extremely professional and courteous (cleaned up in all areas they worked in) and efficient throughout the entire process. Prices were fair and reasonable! No need to look any further! "We got a decent sized addition done with SPS. They came forward with great ideas and great pricing. We loved his ability to come up with unique solutions and great customer service. The overall build seems to be well done. We have had it for almost a year with no major issues. But the experience was a little challenging 1) Ed is the GC but he does not do a good job overall doing quality control. His son, Jesus is also very good. His Son in law is a really nice guy but his work is not up to par. The last few weeks, Ed left is to his son in law to finish up which meant the final finish was bad. Bathroom cabinet door did not close fully. There were splotches of semi gloss and matte paint all over the place. A door was cut unevenly and is still that way. I pointed out many of these, and they would come and close out a few but let others be. 2) the framing around windows was not a straight line. Slight angles everywhere. Not sure why.... Flooring has dips in it... I pointed it out before they put the flooring down... But still got issues. Electric work was mostly done by an assistant to the master electrician.. so I keep wondering if it was really done up to par, especially as the glaring issues were found later. Some of them fixed, others not. Paint shades were not accurately matched. Cleanliness by his crew was ok I have seen my friends projects be done better. 3) Communication was ok. It took me a while to figure out the dynamics. Tldr. Overall the project was decently done. The core work seems to be well done. The finish is lacking. Communication was ok. Supervision by GC was not as good as expected. By the end of the project, I think they were as ready to walk away as we were."
