"Absolute waste of time and money. I scheduled a very simple job - replace two exterior wall sconces (porch lights) with two new ones. The old ones work fine, we just want to update the look. Scheduled service for a date and time and acknowledged there is a $69 service/trip fee which is waived if you have them do the work; no problem. They even called day-of to see if tech could come out earlier than scheduled, which worked fine. When tech arrived, I explained the very straightforward job I wanted done. He looked over the new parts, and I thought we'd be good to go. Then he said that before he did anything he had to do a "safety inspection." An hour later he quoted me a multi-thousand dollar bid to replace all sorts of equipment I had no interest in replacing. And the simple job, if he did just that, would be over $550. I declined, and so it cost me $69 to have no work done and waste my time. I will either do this myself or find a local handyman. Avoid this company like the plague."

The technician did a very through evaluation of my whole electrical system and explained exactly what the issue was and some pointed out a few possible safety issues I wasn't even aware of in a way I actually understood, which I was very greatful for. The tech told me what was needed to correct my issue without be pushy or salesy and the cost of the repair was very reasonable compared to the other quotes I received. I feel like my home is safer now and my breakers are not randomly tripping anymore ❤️. I will definitely be using Wired again for all of my electrical needs, thank yall so much!!"

"So I needed to change my deadbolt on a a front door. I'm pretty handy and I've done exactly that several times. This time however my house had other ideas. Due to a foundation shift and subsequent repair my front door was was not closing correctly and I didn't realize the stress it was putting on the frame where the deadbolt receiver was. When I took out the old one the whole area just crumbled out. I saw a new door frame and probably a door too in my future. Fortunately I found JM here on Angi. I sent him photos and he told me he could fix it and a price. I wasn't sure how he would fix it, but I chose to trust him. So glad I did, he did a fantastic job. The door has never closed cleaner and the lock works perfectly. I plan on having him back to do some other door that are out if whack. I can't think of a better person to handle those tasks that are just outside your DIY capabilities and would recommend him to anyone."
