I am starting a business in Exterior and Interior painting of Residential or Commercial properties. I can do small jobs from one room to the whole house. I have been painting for several years as my father had a painting business for over 25 years and since he passed I am looking to start the business up again. I can get the job done and will do a great job.

We are a full Insurance restoration company providing roofing, painting, fencing, windows, construction and remodeling. Fully Insured licensed and bonded and will take care of you from beginning to end.

"This company put on the roof for the house I just bought. When I moved in, rain was pouring in through the garage. I called the previous owners and they gave me the invoice for these guys. They refused to call back. New roofer said they just laid new tiles over old, rotting plywood. They charge old owner $7,500 for a small townhome and would never call me back to honor the warranty."

Interior Painting questions, answered by experts

In terms of durability, the best paint for a bathroom is a semi-gloss paint. Higher gloss finishes are the most durable, easy-to-clean, and mold-resistant options. However, semi-gloss paint is better suited to walls and ceilings than high-gloss paint, which tends to highlight imperfections and is better suited to details like trim, window frames, and cabinetry.

The number of paint coats you should apply varies by project, but many jobs call for two coats of paint. Make sure you let the first coat fully dry according to the manufacturer’s instructions before applying that second coat. Luckily, paint from a sprayer dries rather quickly due to the nature of the fine mist created by the sprayer.

A whole-house color palette often has between five and seven colors. Those include the trim color that appears throughout your home, a foundation color for your main living areas, secondary colors for each bedroom, and accent colors, which are close to your foundation or secondary colors. Smaller homes under 1,000 square feet may just have four or five colors, while larger homes can have ten or more and still look cohesive.

Always fill gaps before painting for the most professional results. Gap-filling materials such as caulk and wood filler require primer and paint to match surrounding surfaces, so addressing gaps during your painting project ensures consistent color and finish throughout the room.

If the exterior walls are not thoroughly cleaned before a paint job, the paint could stick to the grime, creating obvious imperfections along the way. Beyond that, painting over a freshly-cleaned wall just about doubles the lifespan of the paint, from three or four years to seven to ten years.
