Great work!! The repair and damaged area was professionally completed. The owners attended the initial visit and returned many times to ensure the customer was please with the results. The repair person and painter was always on time and courteous during his hard work. They worked very hard to make sure the texture matched the surrounding areas as well as painting.

It went wonderfully. The work is top of the line. The painting is perfect. They performed a couple of other small jobs. All work was done to perfection. The guys were pleasant and eager to please. I am rehiring them again in a couple of weeks to paint a different home.

I selected this company based on the Angie's List reviews. An appointment was scheduled for an estimate. Carlos did arrive on Sunday, 27 Dec, and gave me an estimate to which I agreed to. He was scheduled to return 6 Jan to complete the job. I cleared all areas and waited for his arrival but he never showed up nor did he call. I waited a week before I called the company to see if he was still interested in the job and was informed they were not aware he scheduled the job but that they would find out what happened and make sure Carlos had my number. To this day, 18 Jan I have heard nothing. I understood that they are very busy but it would have at least been common courtesy to call and apologize and inform me that the job could not be done rather than leave me hanging. I will go back on Angie's list in search of another company or individual who could use the job....sigh!

Everything went very smooth. They were always prompt and all areas were cleaned up at the end of each work day. This is the 2nd time that we have used this company and it definitely will not be the last. Cynthia and Nancy were always on top of all our changes to make sure everything the way we wanted. We have hired C&N Painting 3 times now and could not be happier with their work. They are efficient, professional and always do great work at a fair price. So far for us they have repaired cracks in the ceilings of two houses, and made floor to ceiling repairs to another home after it flooded. Carlos and his crew that come and do the work are terrific, and no job is done until it is to our satisfaction. I was very happy with my experience with C&N painting. It was a pleasure working with such a professionally run company. There were prompt replies to our phone messages and emails. The estimate was submitted in a timely fashion, and the work commenced shortly thereafter. We had no mid-project hikes in the cost, and the work done looked great at a fair price. The friendly crew seemed very concerned about detail and doing a good job. When finished, the entire ceiling looked as though no repair had been done. They did an excellent job. Nancy responded quickly to all my messages, gave me clear responses, stayed up to date with everything that was going on, and was a pleasure to work with. The crew always let us know what was going to happen before they started any activity of the project, and did an excellent job.

Great! The decks are beautiful and fresh looking and like new again. The crew in the permanent employee of the company were pleasant, reliable and completely professional; much appreciated for their quality work. We have called on owners of C&N Nancy and Cynthia in the past for inside painting of our home and knew then we had found a professional and much qualified company to come into our home.

The wallpaper and backing was stripped, any problem areas fixed, texture applied, oil based primer applied and 2 coats of semi-gloss paint applied in 4 days. There were some areas on the trim that needed to be sanded and painted after counter tops were previously put in, which they took care of. Everything was covered and cleaned up and the bathroom was left in reasonably clean condition. Had issues with a previous painter that left everything a mess...but not this crew! Very happy with the job and will definitely use them again.

It was a complete pleasure dealing with Nancy, Cynthia and their crew. I had contacted C & N to correct someone else's messy work. The painter I had hired before them to paint my house had done a very poor job on a section of the ceiling in my entry where there had been a leak while he was painting my house. The floating and texture work he had done was a complete mess and the way he painted the area made it so obvious that a repair had been done. It looked like a big huge band aid on the ceiling and stuck out like a sore thumb. I spoke to Nancy the first time I called to find out if they would be willing to work on someone else's mistake. She agreed to come to my home to take a look at what the issue was. Cynthia and Nancy showed up on time the day of the appointment took a look at everything and agreed to take the job but let me know first that because of previous job commitments they wouldn't be able to start till a few weeks later. I really appreciated them being up front about that because to me that shows that when they take on a job they commit to focus on that job from start to finish instead of over extending themselves and over promising. I let them know that I was willing to wait and Nancy said she would call me back to schedule a start date once she got back to her office and checked their work schedule. Which she did. The day the job was to start Nancy and Cynthia showed up with the crew (on time) went over everything with them and Nancy and Cynthia left them to do their work. The crew was efficient, clean and courteous. They worked well together and checked each others work to make sure the job was done right. I don't remember if it was on the first or second day but I ended up asking Nancy if they would be able to repaint the walls in my entry while they were there since the previous painter had used the wrong finish (semi gloss-Horrors!) and after checking their other jobs to see if there was time to squeeze in that extra work they found they could do it. After the crew finished with the job Nancy and Cynthia came by to check out their work to make sure they did a good job. They made sure to let me know that even if I noticed anything they missed later I could just call and they would come back to take care of it. They did an excellent job all around and it wasn't necessary to have them come back. You can not even tell where the repair on the ceiling was because they did an excellent job of blending everything in. I wish I had hired them to paint my whole house inside and out from the very beginning. I appreciate that they check what other jobs they have scheduled before agreeing to take anything else on. Their time management and scheduling is impressive as is their professionalism. I also appreciate that everyone involved was punctual every day it took to complete the job. It was easy and stress-free having their crew around. Every single one of those young men were courteous, professional, and neat in the way they worked. I would definitely hire C & N Painting and Minor Repairs again as well as recommend them without hesitation.

Wonderfully. Workers arrived when they said they would, professional work done with care, always courteous and considerate. Cynthia and Nancy came and checked on the work almost daily to ensure that I was satisfied with the progress and the jobs. Furniture had to be moved from one room to another; crew made sure that there was adequate walking space and that the couch in family room was moved to tv-viewing position each night. Cleaned up each day before they left. Replaced all pictures, etc., after painting the walls (had taken pictures be sure to replace accurately). While working in the lr/dr/kitchen, painters noticed mold/mildew smell in family room. (I had had a local roofing company install a new roof as a result of the April hail storm, and it rained a few days after that installation.This damage had accorded while C&N was working in the lr/dr/kitchen area.) Workers removed sheetrock and insulation and cleaned and treated the mold and mildew areas. Since the area was bare to the outside wall and a cold front was predicted, they brought and installed sheetrock and insulation the following day to help keep that room livable. Because of their professionalism and care and because I could trust them to do a good job and because they acted promptly and efficiently when they detected the mold/mildew, I had them do the repairs in the family room instead of having the roofing company repair the damage that occurred days after that roofing company installed a new roof. (Insurance did not pay for leak that occurred days after new roof was installed.) I will use C&N every time I need work done, and I most definitely recommend them.

Nancy was great. The quote was very simple with not much detail, so I was sure to ask several clarifying questions. Nancy answered them all and I felt comfortable with her company. All the painters were extremely polite and respectful. They got straight to work and even notified me when they were going to leave for a lunch break. They also made me aware of an issue I had with my house that I did not know about. I got multiple quotes and felt they were very reasonably priced. I would hire them for any future work and would hire them again.

The walls in the bathroom have not been completely sheet-rocked and tape and floated. Nancy and her crew indicated they will come back to finish the work. Nancy's crew were told that the garage and bathroom garage need to be sheet-rocked as well. After paying the full amount to Nancy, the work is left UNFINISHED! We want Nancy and her crew to come back and finish the work they have started. Nancy claimed that we asked for additional work to be done that is why they did not finish the work in 8 days. One of Nancy's crew asked to have a ladder in the house in exchange for 1 hour and 30 minutes of work. We gave the ladder to Mike as payment for work. The crew man said this extra hour will not count towards the 8 hour days. Nancy is claiming that the work could not be finished because we asked for 1 hour and 30 minutes of work outside what was in the contract. Nancy needs to talk to his foreman, Mike, to get this issue settled. It is your fault, not US, the customers, that you made a promise to fix the entire house in 8 days. If you say you will do the work in 8 days, and then if you say you will come back to do the other work because they are part of the contract, then you need to honor your words. Now, Nancy is asking for an additional money on top of the $6000 we gave her because she did not finish the job in 8 days. I am sorry, it does not work this way. You made the promise that you will complete the job in 8 days and you need to come back and finish the job you have started. You cannot ask for more money as this is not part of the contract. You wrote in the contract that you will sheet rock and tape float everything that needs to be fixed in the house. You need to meet your contractual obligations and FINISH the job! "In our 39 years in business, we at C&N Painting and Minor Repairs have had the opportunity to work with many, many investor-owners countless times on a wide variety of projects, large and small. We are willing and able to take on projects and deliver quality workmanship and craftsmanship at a competitive price. To fully appreciate and understand what is at issue about this investment property project, one must simply look at the details. All variances of work performed during the 8 days were agreed upon by Investor-Owner M. W. after being duly notified of potential for delay and how it would impact the 8 days forecasted for this project. Chronologically, the issues causing delay were as follows: 1. Popcorn residue was removed from ceiling in kitchen, living room and elsewhere in the house. Investor-Owner M.W. indicated that he would take care of this himself, which he did not. C&N Painting and Minor Repairs preformed this work. 2. Remove stovetop and oven. This was due to an electrocution/shock experienced by Investor-Owner M.W. when he attemtped to do this work himself. 3. Tear down and remove kitchen sink and cabinets. By request of Investor-Owner M.W. 4. Tear down and remove counter top tile work. By request of Investor-Owner M.W. 5. Re-route electrical and install plate to cover 220. As per request of Investor-Owner M.W. 6. Removal of popcorn ceiling in garage bathroom. This work was not listed in the original contract and was done simply as a courtesy because the master bathroom and hallway bathroom were not ready to be worked on by C&N Painting and Minor Repairs. Investor-Owner M.W. had previously indicated that he would have the master bathroom and hallway bathroom prepared and readied for tape, float and texture. Neither bathroom was ready for any work to be performed by C&N Painting and Minor Repairs. Each one of of these and the proximate time lines for completion were communicated to Investor-Owner M.W. Each one of these separate, labor intensive and time consuming work tasks when combined are the reasons why other work was not completed at the project site within the timeframe forecasted. C&N Painting and Minor Repairs offers the following proposal: 1. The hallway bathroom will be taped, floated and textured if and when bathroom plumbing is completed and made ready for sheetrock for no additional cost or charge. This is with the understanding that Investor-Owner M.W. will be providing any and all materials. C&N Painting and Minor Repairs will be providing only labor, again at no additional cost or charge. 2. The master bathroom will be taped, floated and textured to existing sheetrock if and when the master bathroom is torn down and made ready at no additional cost or charge. No sheetrock will be installed by C&N Painting and Minor Repairs. This is with the understanding that Investor-Owner M.W. will be providing any and all materials. C&N Painting and Minor Repairs will be providing only labor, again at no additional cost or charge. No other work will be offered or preformed in the house or garage located at the project site. We at C&N Painting and Minor Repairs await the opportunity to do 1 & 2 of our proposal."

Great! It took more than 2 days to finish the work but that was due to the needed time for the materials to dry. Richard and Michael always scheduled a time and followed through with very few changes. Nancy and Cynthia came by several times to make sure the work was being done correctly.
