Handyman refurbished shower ($800) and work itself was satisfactoery although not on time and handyman was unorganized and undependable as to timetable and communication.
Handyman (Dan Marquardt) was paid $1,000 deposit in June for interior painting and other repairs .
Some minor repairs were done but interior painting which was the major project was cancelled by home owner due to sale of house in "as is" condition.
Customer advised handyman to calculate amounts due for work and time expended and return the balance.
Handyman returned nothing .
Handyman was overall : unorganized , undependable , and above all unethical in not returning part of the deposit .
My very generous estimation of what he was owed (at most) is $500.
