"It is my understanding that Space City Lights primarily focuses on outdoor lighting (Outdoor lighting was the only option I could select above). But this job was actually to remove my existing indoor lighting at my house, and then add in dimmable recessed lighting throughout the home (first and second floors). Overall, very pleased. The job was finished yesterday and so far, so good. Brent and his team managed to add in the lights without damaging the surrounding drywall on the ceiling. Pricing was attractive. Only slight negative was the job took an extra day - but they communicated that early on as the project was ongoing. So it wasn’t a problem for me. They also removed and installed 3 ceiling fans. Those are also working well so far."

"Mike, Ryan, and team were great. They were complete professionals who arrived on time and completed the installation as stated. Mike worked us on our budget while putting together a lighting presentation of our backyard that resembles and reminds us of our trips to Hawaii and their resorts. "Very great craftsmanship but had issues with keeping the schedule. It took several times of rescheduling the date due to the contractor not being able to complete a prior job. The work is of professional quality. There is one item that needs to be fixed (patio holds water at the edge and puddles) but the contractor has not arrived at my residence to fix the issue. (Update: Jay arrived and fixed the puddling issue. Water is flowing correctly and no more puddles!)"

"A bit conflicted on how I feel. First off, the gentlemen who did the work were awesome! Fast, efficient, polite, professional, courteous...outstanding. My problem, however, involves the fact that I purchased the 4 recessed light installation offer after asking SPECIFICALLY if it would cost more to have them also remove the fluorescent light box. The response was "no." I was very clear in my request. However, once the installers arrived and called the office about the light box, I was charged an additional $100 to have the box removed. I was too prepared to have the work done to argue about the additional price, and would LIKELY have paid it up front had they been honest from the get-go. All-in-all, it left a bad taste in my mouth, and that's the primary reason why I gave them lower scores on professionalism and price. The offer also mentioned a "comprehensive electrical inspection." That is VERY misleading, because all they do is make sure the lights they installed work. Note: their package does NOT include drywall repair, so I have a huge mess in my ceiling and am no looking forward to the added cost of hiring someone to repair that. If you don't have to have any lighting removed, there should be no drywall issues for you, however. I would like to think my experience was an anomaly, so I might consider using them again, as the quality of the work was mostly fine."

"The 9 inches of rain from remnants of Patricia gave it the ultimate test and it performed beautifully. Whereas minor rain events caused ponding before, with the new drainage there was barely any standing water even as these heavy rains were ongoing.
The sprinkler system was trickier to fix than anticipated since a previous contractor had accidentally cut the electric lines between the nozzles. Rob and his crew were able to get everything back into working order.
Tree trimming also was handled professionally, as Rob carefully identified which branches needed trimming so as to let in sufficient light for the grass while maintaining the health of the tree.

"Wow! My house looks awesome! Kevin installed recess lighting in our kitchen, dining room and living room. All I can say is WOW! It looks great. He also installed lighting on the front porch, laundry room, a front entry chandelier and a vent/light in a bathroom, which are all awesome too. We really appreciate his advice on how many lights we needed and where they should be placed, and ways to solve the other lighting issues. He was professional and prompt. I'm thrilled with how my house looks! I was also thrilled with the bill. For years I had put off many of these installations for fear it would be way out of my budget.
