"TSM Construction had excellent follow through, great communication, clear understanding of the progression of the project. I would highly recommend them. I had no doubt they would make the best choice for me when I could not be there. They are one of the most highly organized companies I have ever dealt with. Well worth working with people who do things right. They had excellent communication– 6 stars! ‘You get what you pay for.’ High quality costs more and is well worth it….and after several different quotes they were always equal or a little less expensive."
With a broad but generous experience in engineering, homebuilding is one of my many strengths and preferred areas of construction. Highly skilled worker with plenty drywall experience across my living area, I’m a recommendable person recognized by my openness, clarity and honesty.

"Fernando, his son Frankie, and Jeb Kraft (substituting for a vacationing crew member) were excellent. Their experience, work ethic, and attitude were outstanding. Every issue that arose as they repaired work another company did several years ago was solved by Fernando. He always provided several options and we selected the best one for the situation. Because Fernando hand-dug the needed holes and trenches he had no problem when he encountered the main electric line several feet from where 811 had marked it."
"It went really well, better than expected. Mr. King was great to work with as he provided me several options for water proofing (for the future) and he installed a sump pump which is what I needed as the first step. He was on time, cleaned up after the job was done (and during) and wanted to make sure we were very happy with his work. I waited to do a review because I wanted to see how the sump pump worked after rain. We have had a couple of good rain events since it was installed and we heard it working and doing its job. The unit is a little loud, but knowing it is working and moving the water out of the crawlspace is all that matters to me."
"He came in and got straight to work. He was professional and relatable and didn't charge me an arm and a leg to get the work done. I would definitely hire him again and recommend him to friend & family."
It is worth it to install window bars for a few reasons. Security bars can slightly increase the value of your home in the eyes of security-conscious homebuyers, especially if you're living in an area with a higher crime rate. You may also qualify for lower homeowners insurance premiums by installing security measures like window bars.
In addition to window well covers or bars, you can take a few more steps to boost basement window security. Try motion-activated lighting; it scares off potential intruders by lighting up when someone gets too close. Strengthening your window glass with impact-resistant security film can also deter forced entry. A dependable home security system with window sensors and cameras offers real-time monitoring and alerts for added protection. Lastly, fostering good relationships with neighbors can establish a supportive community watch network, enhancing your home's safety.
There are ample home security options available today outside of just window bars. Depending on your location, home’s layout, and needs, one or more types of home security systems may be necessary. You could consider doorbell cameras, motion-sensor flood lights, or window and door sensors. And in some cases, you may qualify for homeowners insurance discounts when you install one or more.
Burglar bars can go either inside or outside a window. However, internally mounted security bars provide the advantage of being inaccessible from outside the property without breaking a window. If a burglar were to break the glass and attempt to attack the inside bar attachment, they would risk setting off a glass break window alarm sensor.
For many, burglar bars detract from the look of a home. Opt for a custom design made from wrought iron to make windows with burglar bars look attractive and balance security with curb appeal. Add foliage such as climbing ivy or planter boxes with flowers. Add colorful wooden shutters or paint the bars in vibrant colors.
