"I have high expectations and the two people who showed up blew away those expectations and set the bar high for any movers I ever use. They where eager, quick, careful, and showed extreme skill at their craft.
Regardless of a task difficulty there was no hesitation to jump in and tackle it. This same spirit was showed in the unloading with an even greater eagerness. If it could be done it was, if it couldn't be done, they did it anyways. I couldn't have made a better choice

"I feel extremely fortunate to have found Vicki through Angie's List !  She is an extremely talented person who is very easy to deal with. She has a breath of knowledge that allows her to accommodate my tastes, but also ensure that the overall design is in sync with the design and location of my home.  She has  a very diplomatic way of suggesting when I'm going astray with my choices and in every case where she has told me "Trust Me"  I have been delighted ! She is very aggressive in helping me find the best pricing and often times will work with the vendors directly  hence saving me the time.  She also has excellent local contacts.  Everyone I've worked with through Vicki has been timely, professional, and highly competent.
My project is far from complete.  I intend to continue to use Vicki and her expert advice until the end !!!!"

"Heather and her team were phenomenal. As I am out of their core area, she hired a sub contractor based on recommendations she received from a trusted source. His work was far sub par to her standards and she instantly took over and made it right. The color from the paint store did not match the samples and she made that right as well. Rare you will see a business owner these days outside pressure washing concrete that a sub messed up! The work her team did was amazing, but more importantly, her professionalism and dedication to customer satisfaction is beyond reproach. I would highly, highly recommend them for ANY project!"

"

Did a good job, providing 2 layouts to choose from.  Completed design and sent email and snail mail paint and furniture samples in a little over a month from starting the process.  The previous estimate was 2-3 weeks so it wasn't so late.  My only disappointment was the design was not for the complete room.  They told me that the missing area was considered an entry way or hallway and could be designed for an additional fee.  I did not want to pay an additional and accepted their explanation, but on second thought, in my opinion, it isn't really separate.  There is a large archway one-third of the way into the room, but I have never considered it as two separate rooms and no one visiting my home has ever mentioned it.  Every room has an entrance.  I wouldn't call the way to get into a room as a separate room. Other than that, I would say a got a great deal overall.

Home Staging questions, answered by experts

To stage your home yourself, clean your home thoroughly to sell, leaving it gleaming like a five-star hotel. Less is best—always clear away clutter and anything personal so buyers can focus on the beauty of the rooms. Prospective buyers will check the closets, so investing in a storage space may be necessary.

Move furniture around, mix fabrics and decor, and de-cramp the room by removing any unnecessary furniture. A fresh coat of paint always helps, as do natural features like plants.

Choosing a high-quality home stager can mean the difference between your home flying off the shelves or sitting on the market for weeks or months, and it all starts with verifying the stager’s experience. You can start by asking how long the professional has been in the business, and you should also ask for references and examples of past work in your particular area. Ask the stager about your options, including virtual staging, furniture rental, and other preparation services.

While LVP won’t increase home value as much as engineered hardwood, it can increase the value somewhat because it creates a warm and inviting aesthetic. It’s also durable and waterproof, so it can be appealing to homebuyers with pets and children. LVP is very low-maintenance, so that can also appeal to homebuyers who don’t want to spend a lot of time keeping up with an engineered or solid hardwood floor.

Fresh baseboards can increase a home’s value because they refresh the look of your walls. This can make a good impression on buyers and potentially boost your home’s resale value. This is particularly helpful if your existing baseboards are in bad shape, which can age the look of your walls.

Consider also investing in the cost to install shoe molding for an extra-polished look that can further boost resale value.

The impact of a walk-in tub on home value depends on various factors, including market demand, demographic preferences, and overall home features. While some buyers may view it as a desirable accessibility feature, others might see it as a niche amenity, potentially limiting the pool of interested buyers. However, it could add value if the walk-in tub meets specific needs or enhances the property's appeal to a target demographic. Ultimately, its effect on home value varies case by case, with factors like installation quality, design, and neighborhood trends playing roles in determining its impact.
