"We highly recommend Christina Reeves, A Womans Touch in Tile and Flooring. Christina has many tools in her tool belt with tiling being her forte. She is highly crafted in the tile trade, color coordination being just one of them. She has a great taste and an eye for what grout color would complement your tile the best to make it pop. For us she has done 3 bathrooms, 2 where walk in showers, and our living room fireplace. All were done quickly and professionally, wouldn’t change a thing. The walk-in showers were a big project for she had to use a grinder to grind down the cement around the drain for quick and proper water flow and she proved no project was too big or too hard for her. I think what we admire most about Christina is her strong work ethics and her reasonable pricing. She was always very reliable, on time and cleaned up the work site every day but what we are most grateful for is she listened to and was able to accomplish our end vision. Give her a call today, you won’t be disappointed!!"
Remodeling - Kitchen & Bathroom Project
When I cut the subfloor out in the entire section of the middle wall over to the shower wall. I accidentally cut a sliver in the water line for the toilet. So I had to cut the main immediately and cut the copper to attach a shark bite coupling to repair the sliver cut.

Drapery Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Yes, professional drape cleaning is often worth the investment. A professional cleaning service can remove accumulated allergens like dust, pollen, and pet dander, which is especially beneficial for households with allergy sufferers or individuals with respiratory issues like asthma. This process also effectively eliminates odors from cooking, pets, and daily life, helping your home look and smell fresh while improving indoor air quality. Furthermore, hiring a professional ensures that the correct cleaning methods are used, preventing damage to the fabric. It is generally recommended to have drapes professionally cleaned every four to five years, with regular light vacuuming in between.

There are several ways to store clothes properly and keep them smelling good. You can keep clothing in a climate-controlled closet for best results, but if this isn’t in your budget, there are many DIY solutions. From using air freshener sprays to keeping a box of baking soda in the closet, you can eliminate unwanted odors. Always store clean, dry clothes in the closet to minimize odors.

The recommended frequency for professionally cleaning drapes varies. As a general guideline, aim for every four to five years. However, you should consider more frequent cleanings in specific circumstances. For homes with pets, heavy soiling, or residents with severe allergies, cleaning every two to three years—or even two to four times per year—is beneficial. Light-colored drapes may need cleaning every one to two years to maintain their appearance. Some also follow a biannual schedule, cleaning in the spring to remove winter dust and in the fall to remove summer pollen. In between professional services, lightly vacuum your drapes with a special attachment to remove surface debris, but avoid abrasive brushes on delicate fabrics like silk and linen.

Custom curtains or drapes are an investment, often costing hundreds of dollars. Just like rugs or fabric furniture, cleaning helps maintain its original quality and keeps it lasting for years to come. Skipping regular drapery cleaning can result in discoloration, odors, mold or mildew, and even allergens from dust buildup.

First, ensure your clothes are clean before you pack them. When packing, make sure they’re folded and stored within the container with enough room to breathe. For extra protection, try using cedar chips or lavender sachets, which naturally repel bugs. Lastly, periodically checking in on your clothes will help you stay aware of their condition.
