"Landscaping Guys did a great job re-sodding my lawn! They helped prepare the dirt (removed old grass/weeds), ordered and had delivered the new sod, and then installed the sod. They reset all the irrigation heads and replaced any that malfunctioned. They also installed a couple of drainage areas to remove standing water. They did a great job, were on time, and the results are fantastic. Throughout it all, Jesus kept me informed of the plan and walked me through the process for each step. The price was fair and they completed the job ahead of schedule. It was always a great, hard working crew on site."

"He and his team did a rush job! New paving on driveway.. it looks as if it's been down 20 years and it's less than a year. He said he guaranteed all his work. He straight up lied. When I called about dips, cracks and crumbling of spots in driveway his response was, "I said not to park and turn in same spots ".we did as he said but it all happened anyway plus more. Apparently the material he used was cheap or something left out. I watched one of his workers asked him a question and he crossed his hand across his neck, suggesting no to something that should have been done. All he did was ride the press roller up and down the driveway a few times then asked for his money and left.. leaving his few people to finish the job. One girl had flat metal shoes walking the edges. My husband had set up the job and I hadn't read his reviews or checked his work history. At first I said no I wasn't expecting him and he argued about having material ready that I had to pay for. Do not use him!!!"

Your driveway is one of the first things people see when they look at your home, so repairing cracks, chips, and potholes can improve your home’s curb appeal and overall value. In most cases, you don’t need a permit to repave your driveway, although some exceptions exist. If you’re widening your driveway and plan on widening the apron as well, you’ll usually need a permit from the Department of Transportation in your area. This permit costs between $50 and $300 in most cases. Most municipalities will also require a certified and insured contractor do the work relating to the apron and curb cut. You can contact your building department or ask your paving company if you need a permit. Your driveway professional will usually pull the permit for you.

Permeable pavers typically last between 20 and 40 years, depending on the material, installation quality, and how well they’re maintained. Interlocking concrete pavers and stone systems tend to last the longest, especially when built on a properly compacted base. Regular cleaning to prevent joint clogging can significantly extend their lifespan.

A 500-square-foot driveway can cost anywhere from $5,000 to $35,000, depending on the type of pavers you choose. Grass and concrete pavers are more affordable, while stone and cobblestone pavers are on the higher end of that price range. You’ll save some money by DIYing the installation, though we highly recommend sticking with a professional for this type of driveway installation.

The stones do not work well on uneven ground. If the stones are not buried into the ground and made level upon installation, they almost certainly will shift or crack on uneven ground. Additionally, rainwater or water from sprinklers can run under the edge of an uneven paver, causing erosion. In a freeze and thaw cycle, trapped water under the paver can cause the problem to worsen by shifting the stepping stones around. Use a bubble level to make sure the ground under each paver is as even as possible, even if the nearby ground is uneven.
