"Owner works with his family, claims to have been in business for years offering commercial / residential work. All his work is guaranteed. Promises the asphalt is 3 inches thick over all after being rolled. To my surprise, I gave the provider (Henry's Paving) the benefit of the doubt yet within six months the driveway is already falling apart. I called, and they promised after the holiday season that he would send out his brother and make things right. One day lead to the next, soon I sent a text to the owner - text returned as non deliverable. I contacted the brother who lives locally, asked if the brothers number changed as he was going to do work for us; asked if I could get it - last I heard. Now I am thinking of just turning things over to our attorney. We've now seen others have their driveways done and you can tell the asphalt is thick, not think like ours. I encourage the service provider / owner of Henry's Paving, if your legit than call."

Asphalt can get sticky in high temperatures and intense sunlight and is better for cooler or moderate climates, while concrete is more likely to crack in colder climates where water can seep into the slab and freeze. Give your driveway at least 24 to 48 hours to dry. After 72 hours, you can walk or park on it, but tread lightly. It might look solid, but it’s still soft and can be easily damaged.
