"We had been without hot water for 3 days and because we had a Bradford model we had to go through one of their certified technicians. They were 5 hours late and told me I needed a new water heater. He did mention that if I searched locally that they might be able to install a new unit less expensively, which I appreciated. I searched a few local companies and decided to go with Doby’s because of the reviews on Angi’s list. Cassie was fantastic and although it was 2:30 on a Friday afternoon, knowing that we’d been without hot water for 3 days, she was able to schedule a technician to install a new unit that day. If you want to avoid using a snake to unclog a drain, or if you don’t have one, try vinegar and baking soda. Pour 1 cup of baking soda down the drain, followed by 1 cup of white vinegar. Wait for 15 minutes, and then run hot water (but not boiling water) down the drain to see if the clog is clear. Repeat multiple times as needed.
