"My experience with Green home solutions was excellent from start to finish. They were kind, courteous, professional, and did amazing work. They were able to squeeze us into their busy schedule as we had a bit of an emergency situation. The moisture testing was thorough and the report we received was very detailed. The report provided pictures for evidence of moisture, and also had a detailed plan for remediation. I am  a Realtor and will only be recommending this company in the future."

"Fast and efficient. Adam did a great job getting in, did the testing needed, and turned around the results. The project was held up due to the testing requirement and Adam got everything we needed."

"Outstanding. They did what they said they would, completed it when they said they would, and did it all at a fair price. Unlike Servpro who took advantage of the flood aftermath and price gouged with an excessive priced quote and a requirement to first get an industrial hygienist report (an additional $525 before they would even quote). Absolute Environmental, the President Patrick Rasmussen, and staff are first class. I would not hesitate to recommend them for any residential or commercial project. They delivered when we needed it most."

Lead Testing and Removal questions, answered by experts

Hiring a professional for mold and toxic material testing ensures precise identification of harmful substances within a home. Professionals utilize specialized equipment and techniques, providing accurate results that inform proper removal strategies, safeguarding occupant health.

Lead removal is crucial in older homes to eliminate risks of lead poisoning, which can severely affect health, particularly in children, by impacting development and cognitive functions.

If lead is detected in a property, steps should include arranging for professional removal or containment, notifying all occupants, and implementing interim safety measures to reduce exposure.

Several different measurements may be used to determine the amount of lead in water. The most common unit of measurement is micrograms per liter (µg/L), which is the same as parts per billion. Another measurement is milligrams per liter (mg/L), which is the same as parts per million.

No, a standard home inspection includes the basics and does not offer lead paint testing. Professional lead paint inspectors need specific licenses to perform these inspections, which not all home inspectors have. If you suspect lead paint in the home you are about to purchase, you will need to pay separately to have that done. If the findings come back positive, you may be able to negotiate with the buyer to cover the cost of the removal.
