Creative Lawn and Lighting opened its doors in June, 1996. In the beginning we sold only concrete statuary, which has always been a popular choice. Builders and homeowners alike have discovered that it is a beautiful and inexpensive way to enhance their lawn and garden. Shortly thereafter, we began carrying aluminum lights, mailboxes, planters and urns for the home and business. The aluminum products caught on very quickly. We now supply mailboxes, custom street signs and streetlights to a large number of new subdivisions that are being built in and around the Chattanooga area. We design and modify many of our products, such as mailboxes, driveway lights, street signs, and fountains, for use in the home or business.

"Paid $273 to have 3 scoops of topsoil delivered to my side yard. $60 a scoop and $70 delivery fee. The man pulls in to deliver it (35 minutes late) and immediately gets stuck. I ask if he has his truck in 4 wheel drive (because this doesn’t make sense at all) and he says yes, assures me it’s in 4 wheel drive.. I call the nursery to see if they can deliver another day and they said it would be another fee for coming back out…. So I told the guy to just dump the dirt where it was. He made me sign a waiver saying he’s not responsible for the damage to my yard because they are not suppose to actually pull into people’s yards…. Even though I specifically told them on the phone when I ordered the dirt and before he drove to my house that it was IN MY SIDE YARD…He gets in his truck, waiting for someone to arrive to tow him out. Meanwhile, I’m looking up wheelbarrow cost ($75 is the cheapest) because now I have to move all this dirt myself…. And to my surprise… the guy miraculously gets the truck out of the yard.. with no issue at all. Gets out of the truck and tells me it actually wasn’t in 4 wheel drive the whole time….. so moral of the story; never use these people for landscaping needs."

Greenhouses and Nurseries questions, answered by experts

One handy thing about whole-house dehumidifiers is, once installed, you don’t have to worry about placement or changing the dehumidifier’s position. But if you are using a portable dehumidifier, we suggest keeping it away from walls, vents, and furniture. It needs a central, unobstructed spot with access to lots of air to do its job.

Increases living space and adds value to the home through enhanced utility.

The only real drawback to green building is that it’s more expensive up front, with per-square-foot prices sitting 33% higher than what you’d pay to build a traditional home. The higher cost is due to more expensive building materials and more labor to ensure every aspect of the home is as efficient as possible. However, green buildings often save money in the long run, so this is just a temporary downside.

A solarium is built almost entirely out of glass, whereas a sunroom is built using other materials for the walls and ceiling, with some windows added to the walls and possibly a skylight in the ceiling. However, the sunroom uses significantly less glass compared to the solarium. The solarium may not hold heat as well as a sunroom when built in colder climates. A sunroom can use different materials for insulation, and heating and cooling systems can more easily supplement the energy gained from sunlight.

Before you get started on your hydroponic garden project, decide on your garden’s location. For a small office or home garden, consider an indoor hydroponic garden. Contrarily, if you plan on making a profit from your hydroponic garden, you might need to rent land or indoor space to grow your plants.
