"Took 30 min in total! Hollis was professional and fast. He sealed up our chimney so no more birds could nest there. BUT please note they will only take checks unless he can call in the credit card, so you must pay with check!!"

"Kirkland’s came and removed two birds from our dryer and vents and placed covers so it wouldn’t happen again. They also cleaned and deodorized the area. They worked quickly and at a good price and we’ll be calling them again if needed."

"We were awoken to the sounds of banging coming from our A/C unit followed by an awful stench flowing through the house. A search outside with flashlights in hand revealed two skunks who decided to mate in our condenser. We called Critter Control and they were out later that morning. The trapper indicated animals had taken up residence in our crawl space, determined the likely point of entry, and set up traps accordingly. She was knowledgeable and professional; checking the traps regularly and communicating with my wife. She offered some remediation options, but it was not a pushy upsell. I would definitely recommend them to others.

"Michael Wells, from Complete Animal Removal, came to our home to remove a snake which was in our crawl space. He literally got here within a half hour of our calling them, quickly and efficiently removed it and checked the entire crawl space for signs of any other snakes down there. He was personable and courteous and we would not hesitate to have him do jobs in the future. Complete Animal Removal has always come to our rescue whenever we have encountered a wildlife problem. I would highly recommend them !"

"Tyler and Hunter are two delightful brothers who are very effective in their work. I got better results from them in two days than I did in a year with the first company I tried. Their cost is extremely reasonable and they repaired the damage the moles left in my yard when they finished their work. I highly recommend Ogden Wildlife Control at 931-682-6062 located in Tennessee . Please do not confuse them with Ogden Wildlife Control, UT."

Bird Control questions, answered by experts

The best animal repellents for gardens include a variety of different scents. You can use predator urine to keep away deer, raccoons, squirrels, and more. The odor will tell the critters that your yard is a dangerous place. Other scents that repel critters are herbs like lavender, geranium, and mint. You can also use hot pepper, garlic, and strong-smelling soap.

Hanging wind chimes or motion-activated speakers near your home may be an effective way to deter woodpeckers, as sudden movement and sound often scare birds away. You could also try using reflective decorative items such as pinwheels or mirrors or placing decoys of large predatory birds in your yard. If these measures don’t deter the woodpeckers, you may need the help of a bird removal pro.

Yes, many professionals offer eco-friendly pest control solutions. These services often use non-toxic and environmentally safe products and integrate green practices to ensure effective pest management with minimal environmental impact.

Woodpeckers usually feed on homes when there is a food source present, and termites are one possible source. However, the presence of woodpeckers doesn’t necessarily mean there are termites. They may also be feeding on more harmless insects like ants or spiders. If woodpeckers seem drawn to one particular part of your home’s siding, it might be worth hiring a termite inspector to check for the presence of these pesky critters.

Once the animals and their young are out of the house, remove the nest and locate any entry points. Some may be difficult to find because some animals can fit through very small holes. Once you’ve located as many entry points as possible, use materials such as metal or masonry to block off the entry. Ideally, you should choose materials that most animals cannot chew through. Create a one-way door or flap to allow animals to leave but not return. Additional methods include using repellants designed to make an area unappealing to the types of animals that find your home so inviting.
