"I complained twice and they had to come back out twice because they didn't apply the insulation as thick as I paid for. I assume because they were angry about coming back out they covered up two of my vents so I can't attach the pipes to them. I can't even find the ends. I will need to dig the expensive foam out to find them."

A family member needed a new HVAC unit, and Walter and his team exceeded our expectations. We explained the importance of having central heat and air as soon as humanly possible but needed an unconventional approach. We needed a change agent. We were requesting consideration because we could not afford the total costs associated with the traditional methods of purchasing a new system. Exhausted, and thinking outside of the box, to help meet the need for heating a home during this winter season, we thought of purchasing a unit. We qualified to buy a unit but did not follow through until we could find that one person — just one who would take a risk and help a family in need. Angie’s List was our absolute go-to. "If I could leave zero stars, I would. My solar system has never been up and running properly, and SC Solar has done nothing to help. After paying over $65,000 for a system that is now essentially worthless, I feel completely scammed. All the company needed to do was remove and reinstall the panels after I had my roof replaced. Instead, they left exposed wires, creating a major fire hazard. Their negligence has now led to severe roof leaks and damages that total over $100,000 ? and they still won?t come back to fix the mess they created. SC Solar claims to pride themselves on their work, but in reality, they are fraudulent, unresponsive, and completely unprofessional. I?ve been left with nothing but financial stress, safety concerns, and a broken system. Avoid this company at all costs."
