After vacationing on Lake Hartwell for several summers, my family made the move to full-time lake living in the spring of 1996 and never looked back! Within months of making our move, I followed with another life changing decision. At the age of 36, I left my comfortable life as a stay-at-home mom and entered real estate. To others, it may have appeared that I had everything working against me - I had been out of the workforce for years, I had a lack of local knowledge, and I certainly didn't know my way around the lake yet. Instead of proving my critics right, I worked on gaining the knowledge and experience I was lacking. I spent my time driving to learn my way around the lake - I didn't have a GPS then and still don't use one now! I studied the Corps of Engineers rules so I could answer my clients' questions with confidence. Within just a few years, I was one of the top selling agents on Lake Hartwell, and as of now I have sold more residential property on Lake Hartwell than any other agent in our area. At this point in my career, I developed a team of agents that specialize in working with buyers and I devote most of my time to marketing properties for sellers. My marketing package offers more than any of my competitors and includes professional photography, aerial drone photography, paid online ads, inclusion on both of my company websites, professionally printed marketing materials at the street sign and inside the home, print ads in local publications, and much more.
