"This was an extremely professional company. They came out and repaired siding that was fairly old and they were able to match it up beautifully. They did a good job and when one small glitch happened they immediately made it right. They had excellent communication, and the work was done on time with a fair price. Highly recommend!"

"Honestly, I thought that they were a little slower than I expected until I saw the finished product and work done! They had leveled the ground to fit the fence line and did a phenomenal job of making a wonderful back yard atmosphere!! They cleaned up after very well and stayed until the job was done!!! I was very pleased with the company and recommend they highly!! Chris Ahr"

"I hired Owen to clean up debris from many fallen trees after Hurricane Helene. He responded to my request quickly, was very courteous and professional, and the job he did exceeded my expectations. You couldn’t even tell there was a mass of limbs and trees there after he left. I highly recommend this company for any clearing/landscaping job!!"

"Michael was very reasonable with his prices compared to others I received quotes from. I had a dead tree about 10 feet from the house. He took his time to make sure to keep the house and surrounding landscaping were safe before dropping the tree. I also had him cut up an existing fallen tree for minimal charge. I highly recommend Michael for any tree cutting service."

Snow Removal questions, answered by experts

Removing snow from your roof can help prevent ice dams, but the best thing to do is address insulation issues in your attic. If you do decide to remove the snow manually, you should always use a roof rake rather than a shovel. You shouldn’t climb your snowy roof in any circumstance, and roof rake allows you to remove the snow from the ground or a ladder. For the best results, remove snow as soon as possible after it falls.

When starting the engine, you typically leave the choke on a snowblower in the "choke" or "closed" position. After starting, let the engine run for a few minutes to warm up. Then, gradually open the choke, moving it to the "open" or "run" position, allowing more air into the engine and transitioning to a normal fuel-air mixture. The exact duration varies based on the snowblower model and ambient temperature, but as a general rule, you should open the choke once the engine has stabilized and runs smoothly, typically within a few minutes.

The best time to buy a snow blower is typically around May to early June. This is when most manufacturers introduce new models, and quantities are limited—once early summer rolls around, the focus shifts to lawn mower production. As the new models are released, you may find a wider selection of models, potential discounts or clearance sales on older models, and greater availability, ensuring you are well-prepared for the upcoming winter season.

Leaving a significant amount of snow on your roof can be risky. Most roofs are designed to handle about 20 pounds per square foot of snow, but exceeding this limit can lead to a roof collapse. A collapse can cause severe damage to your home and belongings and poses a physical danger to anyone inside. Furthermore, heavy snow accumulation increases the risk of ice dams, which can cause leaks and water damage to your roof, attic, and interior walls.

Yes, and they do it exceptionally well. Heated roof cables have two purposes: melting snow and preventing ice buildup. Ice damming happens when ice forms on the roof (usually where the roof meets the gutter) and melts stubbornly slowly, causing moisture to enter the roof itself and, therefore, the home.
