The Goodman family has been in the glazing industry in a few forms spanning 3 generations over 80 years in the great state of South Carolina. Most notably the flagship CB Goodman Glass Company in Orangeburg SC was in operation for over 65 years. Both of CB's sons Charles and Freddy Goodman were part of this shop for many years. While Charles ran the shop choosing to stay in Orangeburg, Freddy developed a name for himself in Columbia working for the glass industry leaders and owning his own glass shop. Bennett Goodman, CB's grandson, is now the owner and operator of Goodman Glass in Charleston. He has done electrical, plumbing, and built in shelves, especially at the mobile park. It is hard to find contractors to do the work, but he is available, affordable, and worth the money.
