"They were excellent. We contacted them last night, they came and did the job the next morning. The Tile job looks beautiful, and they will be doing more jobs for us. Ginger is so professional, and very personal, and only cares that the job is done excellent, which it was done. I am so grateful to Ginger and Jose their company is the ONLY company that I will hire to do my house."

"I called DeSol Power Tiles to work up an estimate and design for a solar tile system at my house. And also to get better informed with the solar process. The staff was amazing and knowledgeable and put my mind at ease about taking the next step in freeing myself from the utility companies. I loved the way the product looked because it was more a roof with solar panels built in rather than those ugly, large traditional solar panels and the design was different which I liked. I know solar if the future and I'm going to take the plunge with DeSol Power Tiles and I suggest if you are considering going "solar", you go with DeSol."

Ceramic Tile questions, answered by experts

Bathrooms are naturally moisture-rich environments, so choose a durable, water-resistant tile for your tub surround. Porcelain and ceramic are two popular options that are also quite affordable. Glass is another good option that’s also low-maintenance—you just need a glass cleaner like you would use on the bathroom mirror. Natural stone tile is porous, but it’s still a viable option if you choose it in a glazed version.

DIY is possible for small projects. Professional services ensure precision and long-lasting results.

Costs range from $5 to $15 per square foot for installation and $150 to $600 for repairs, depending on the material and complexity.

It’s easiest to start from an edge as it gives you a straight line. A problem may arise if your edge doesn’t line up perfectly, in which case it’s best to start from the center. Some think that starting tile from the center adds a focal point in the center of the hearth.

Larger tiles can be difficult to install because they’re heavier and bulkier than their smaller counterparts, which makes them harder to haul around and put in place. Plus, if you don’t install the tiles correctly, they could crack or break. For these reasons, it’s best to hire a professional for large-format tile installation.
