"Deez Handz Handy Service had excellent follow through, great communication, and clear understanding of the progression of the project. Their quality of work and professionalism is unmatched. I would highly recommend them. I also appreciate the amount of consideration into being as cost effective as possible given the size of the job. Well worth working with people who do things right. 5 stars!"

"I have not been able to use this company yet but I can say that they are certainly the nicest and most professional people I have ever worked with. They gave me estimates for several home repairs and came out to work on my house when they discovered some termite damage. I am now working with the termite people, but if I can use Full Turn to repair/replace the soffits, I will. Will update this review or write a new one once all the work is done. I can only say at this point that my first impression of this company is that they are excellent."

"They arrived for estimate as scheduled. Due to insurance issues the work needed to be done asap. An estimate was emailed that evening. We signed a contract the next day and work was scheduled for 2 weeks later. They arrived on the scheduled day and began working immediately. Once the sliding glass door had been removed they started to frame in for the window. Half way thru framing for the window, it began to rain. Despite the heaviest rain so far this year, they remained in the rain and completely water proofed the opening so we had no leakage at all inside the house. This was critical as the interior had wall to wall carpeting. The minute the rain stopped, they were right back at work. During the times they had to enter the house for interior work, the were very careful not to track any dirt in the house. They all removed their shoes and placed plastic over the carpet to avoid any mess inside. They completed installing the window and all interior work in 2 days. The siding had to be ordered so they went above and beyond to completely waterproof the exterior so there would be no problems until the siding arrived. They returned on Tuesday with the siding and it was installed to our complete satisfaction. During the entire time they worked on our home, the entire team was courteous, polite and completely professional. I would use this company again without hesitation and would recommend them to anyone who needed carpentry work done."

"They were very professional . They even came back the next two days to put a second coat on the door. They cleaned up behind themselves. I am using them again for counter tops.

"I had a sunroom that a previous contractor had built, but that contractor had very shoddy work. The room was a nightmare. Other contractors wouldn't touch it, but Coastal Empire made it look wonderful! The workmen were very polite, tidy, and did a great job! I am very pleased with the work they did. I now have a beautiful sunroom that I can actually use!"

Yes, most states require a fencing installer to be licensed, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed fence installer could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations.
As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification, which include:
The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check
Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
Fence installers typically charge by the hour when working on a project. Typically, you can expect to pay around $50 per hour for fence installation. Your project might take anywhere from 24 to 72 hours, depending on the length of your fence, overall project complexity, and fence type.
The average cost to install a fence is between $1,760 and $4,500. These costs are what an average homeowner spends, but you might spend more or less depending on several factors. For a smaller DIY project, you might get away with spending as little as $430, or for a much larger project (like fencing for a 5-acre yard), you can spend in excess of $43,000.
Besides the size of your yard, other factors like your fence material, fence height, site prep, and additional fence features like gates all impact the overall cost. Additionally, the high cost of raw materials and manufacturing can all make the overall price tag higher.
Before you hire a fence installer to build you the fence of your dreams for your yard, it’s important to set expectations up front by asking questions. Some questions to consider include:
Do you offer a warranty?
Do you offer financing or a payment plan?
Do you have references?
Do you have photos of previous work?
What type of fencing materials do you work with?
Only some fences require a permit to build. Factors like where you live, how tall your fence will be, and where in your yard you plan to build all impact the need to have a permit. Below are a few examples of when a permit is needed; it’s always best to check with your fence installer to confirm if a permit is required.
Generally, if you live somewhere rural, like on a farm, there’s a good chance you will not need a fence permit. However, you will most likely need a permit if you live in a highly-populated area. In addition, many privacy fences in your backyard won’t need a permit if it is 6 feet or shorter. However, you might need a permit for anything over 3.5 feet in your front yard.
