- Express SunroomsI would not recommend Express Sunrooms. I contracted them to upgrade my screened porch into a 3-season type of room with vinyl window panels. I originally spoke with the salesman and got a quote in June of 2022. I submitted and got HOA approval in July 2022. Express sunrooms ordered materials and told me that it would take about six weeks for them to arrive and once materials arrived it would take about a week to complete the porch. Materials arrived in the end of September and the upgrade was scheduled for the beginning of October. On the day the install was to begin, I got a call saying that they could not make it that day (Friday) but if it was ok, they would start on Sunday, and I agreed. The next day I got a call from the installer telling me that they had ordered the wrong part and had to re-order my materials. It would take another six weeks to arrive. Materials arrived in the beginning of December and the install was scheduled. I was told that they would be arriving at 8 am Monday to begin. The installers finally showed up at 1 PM and worked until 3 PM. The next day they showed up at about 12 PM and worked until 4. The third day the installers showed up at 10 and worked until 5. I asked them if they would be completed by Friday as I was leaving town; he assured me that he would. Friday came and went and the install was not completed. I was told that they would complete the install while I was gone. While I was gone, I received a text saying that the job was completed. When I returned from out of town the following Saturday, I was stunned by the quality of work that had been done. There was not a straight cut in the entire project. The installer had cut the wooden handrail to my porch and left big gaps in the fit. The window panels installed where not the same height. They left screws and nails all over the flower beds and yard. I called the company and lodged a complaint; a manager came out and looked at the work and agreed with my assessment and ordered new materials to fix the porch. Materials arrived in Feb and a different installer was assigned to redo the work. Unfortunately, the materials were still not completely correct and additional panels had to be ordered. Panels arrived on 19 April but once again were not correct so once again, new panels had to be ordered. The panels arrived around May 11 and were installed on the 15th and 16th and the project was finally completed. This project took 11 months to complete after I was told it would take 6-8 weeks. During the entire Project I had little contact with Express Sunrooms. If I did not initiate contact with them, I would hear nothing. I spoke with the local manager about the situation, and I tried to speak to whoever was in charge of the manager, but I was told that he was the highest person I could speak to. I felt very frustrated during this whole process, I would definitely not recommend this company to anyone I know

He came out and gave me a quote we walked the property talked about different ideas and tactics. He came with a crew that were top notch very professional. Left my area clean done in a professional way. I would recommend them to anyone looking for concrete work. I will have them back for my next project
- Coastal Concrete ConstructionTony was the 3rd or 4th quote we received to perform the work on our patio. After several weeks of headaches trying to get someone to come out to the house to quote, we made one call to Tony and he was at the house within a few hours (in between jobs). He gave us a quote on the spot and we met some of his crew that was with him that day. He's an Italian from the North and so are we, so naturally we clicked. Tony and his crew arrived several days after he quoted and when they said they would, performed the work to specifications and cleaned up after themselves. It's tough to find a concrete crew that leaves your house the way it was before they arrived! I highly recommend Tony at Coastal Concrete Construction. His prices were very reasonable and he was responsive to phone calls and text messages. Truly is a no BS kind of guy. Don't waste your time with the other people, heck I'm still waiting on quotes from companies that came by the house weeks before Tony came by. Go with a Yankee if you want the job done with urgency. He's thorough and very knowledgeable. Also does decorative concrete and pavers as well, but specializes in poured concrete
- Coastal Concrete ConstructionThey showed up with an army! Responsive and professional not to mention so very kind to my family including our pup. The jobs were complete in two days in total. The first day the bulk of the work was completed - the next day was a drying out day since it was so cold and the weather was pretty iffy - the third day they completed the projected and cleaned up behind themselves. We will use CCC again and appreciate them fitting us into their schedule and making our backyard the start to something really cool

"There were issues with materials sourcing and Trey and Alex found alternatives that were better and less expensive. They have a good eye for design that aided in the execution of my plans. In other words, they were more than just builders, they could map out the plan very well to fit it in to my existing landscape. They were on time and under budget. They went above and beyond the scope of the project, including but not limited to remulching a huge area around the pathway they installed because the heavy equipment accidentally disturbed a small area. They could have just mulched the disturbed area, but they extended the mulch so that it blended with the existing mulch.
I plan on hiring them to build a pond later this year.
They were outstanding and by far the best contractors I have hired both on and off Angi. I have had major remodels in my house and outside in my pool and yard probably a dozen contractors in all. They are head and shoulders above the others. Thank you Angi.

"In just the last year, my large backyard with my long older fence has begun to flood, which has caused damage. When Greg came to look at my monster fence, I was impressed that he actually took the time to consider repairing (which I knew would probably not be an option) as well as replacing it in a way to help with water drainage as well as mitigate cost. I liked his vision of what could be done, and work soon began. I left town for a 2-week vacation as they started tearing down the old and building the new. Throughout this time, Greg communicated with me and provided pictures on a regular basis to keep me informed of progress and any changes. He sent pictures after rains that showed my yard dry, when before it would have flooded. After one particularly heavy rain, it did flood as before, but the water did not remain as long as in the past. While we didn’t totally solve the problem, it certainly improved the water issue as well as provided addition of a unique and beautiful fence. Upon my return, I watched the crew work tirelessly to meticulously cut and place the boards and construct the fence and gate. I now gaze at my backyard with pleasure as I enjoy the renewal of the space to a place of relaxing enjoyment. I could not be happier with the results!

"I had previous dealings with Sunview Contractors and at that time was not very pleased but was having problems after a heavy rain with water leaking into a couple of places into the room. I called Eric (on a Sunday afternoon) and he agreed to come out and see if he could determine the problem, we set a time and date at that time. On Wednesday he arrived, looked over the entire area and noted that the flashing between the building and the wall was somewhat bowed out, he reset the flashing and resealed the area. He also set up a time for his job supervisor to come out and install gutter covers for the gutters after he had cleared them out. And he also cleaned my skylights - all at no charge to me for this visit. He estimated the cost of the covers for the gutters would low and promised me he would call to let me know when they would be out to install them. I was much more impressed with his professionalism and commitment to quality service than I was 2 years ago. I would call this "new, improved" Sunview Contractors again.
