They found out that he does not have a contracting license and is not bonded or insured in the state of South Carolina. He caused tens of thousands of dollars in damage to their home and they are now involved in a legal nightmare. Please go to verify any contractor in the state of South Carolina though the SCLLR webpage. They are the regulatory board for the state of South Carolina. Chris Brooks has been committing this fraud for years and it’s currently under investigation through the SCLLR and IRS for fraud against elderly people and running a fake unlicensed business. He has been court ordered and sanctions/fined and told to stop committing this construction fraud in South Carolina. But he continues to do so.
