"I was so impressed with every one of the electricians that came to install a fountain in our pond. So professional and did everything in one day. They did everything they said they would and no shocks at the end. They went above and beyond my expectations. Already in the process of hiring them for more jobs in our HOA."

"We had gotten about 5 estimates from different contractors. Although James was not the cheapest, we were so impressed with his manner, his professionalism, and his desire to work with us that we went ahead and hired his company. We could not have made a better choice! These gentlemen work as if they were working on their own projects! They arrived on time, went right to work, and were very pleasant and accomodating to my wife and our 2 small dogs while I was at work. After seeing how hard they worked and how professional they were (not to mention the outstanding quality of their work), we asked them to do some other general contractor things around the house such as changing a large light in the kitchen, installing some crown moldings, and painting a hallway. They were thrilled to help and jumped right in...We will recommend Marshall Construction to anyone asking and I carry one of their business cards in my wallet so that I can pass it on to people! As a matter of fact, they are coming back to do some concrete work for us next month!"

Fountains questions, answered by experts

Yes, waterfall edges are still in style and even considered a kitchen classic. At one time, they were considered trendy, but now homeowners appreciate them for their timeless appeal, which adds value to your home.

Natural pools don’t necessarily attract snakes, although there is a chance they could stop by for a quick visit. They’re not likely to stay, however, because there’s nothing for snakes to eat in a natural pool environment. A well-maintained natural pool has clear water, so you should be able to easily spot a snake before diving in.

One of the most important parts of building a pond is digging the right depth. Your pond needs to be at least one to two feet deep. The specifics of the depth will depend on factors such as the placement of the pond and whether you plan on having fish. If you have fish in your pond, it will need to be at least two feet deep.

Most outdoor water fountains and features do not use a lot of electricity, typically consuming between 100 and 250 watts per day. The size of the fountain's motor can impact its overall electricity usage. To reduce energy consumption, you can use a timer to automatically turn the fountain off at night or when you are away from home. Additionally, installing solar power components can help lower electricity costs after the initial investment is recouped.

Seeps and springs form when groundwater reaches the earth’s surface. The main differences between them are the amount of water and the flow rate. Seeps are smaller than springs and consist of water that’s stagnant or flows slowly. Springs contain more water and flow more quickly.
