"Half of my project was installing and burying a drainage line to pull water away from my home. Brandon, Sergio, and Terrence did an exceptional job! From the moment they arrived, until completion, they were very courteous and willing to explain any and all questions I had. They even installed and buried an additional drain line from my gutter downspout next to the drain line they were installing and connected it to the yardwell along with their drain line. I would definitely recommend Mount Valley based on the work and character of each of these guys. They reflect good on this company!"

Small jobs welcome

"Showed up to give estimate at the time he said he would.
Gave a reasonable estimate lower than the other bidder.
Installed it when he said he would, and showed us informative details that will help in its maintenance.
He was considerate and trustworthy.

"I had to have a drain unclogged two weeks ago and Jamie came out. He was extremely quick and did the work perfectly. He was very nice and professional. Today I had an emergency because my water heater burst and hot water was pouring out. I needed someone to come right away because Iâ m elderly And I did not know how to turn off the water. They sent Mikki here within 15 minutes and he knew right away the problem and had my old one out and my new one installed in less than two hours. He also was very kind and professional. I cannot imagine calling another plumber company after this. I would definitely recommend them to anybody."

"Because my home is built on stilts, they were unable to recommend a plan other than to hire a landscaper to re-direct the flow in the yard. They did reassure me that there were no leaks that needed to be handled for the structural integrity of the home."

"Greg and his employees did an amazing job!! From start to finish it took three days and if you had saw our crawlspace I didn't think anything could be done. Our crawlspace went froma dark, dank, moldy, snake infested, armadillo incubator to a space that is as clean and seems as hygienic as a hospital operating room. I would not go anywhere near our crawlspace before and now have no issues crawling anywhere I want or need to go under the house. they even went beyond by adding some lighting and fixing our airhandler so it didn't drain under the house anymore. I highly recommend Greg and his team at Crawlspace Doctor to turn your space into what it was meant to be."

"They were pretty decent. They were prompt and quick. We had a storm and it knocked a tree down in the road. I had to get it cleared. They came in and chopped that down and another smaller one out front. They hauled it all away. They gave me a really great price. They gave me a quote for some other jobs. I just haven't done them yet. They responded quickly and did their job well. I will use them again."

Storm Drain Installation questions, answered by experts

A storm door should be the same size as the front door. Both doors will fit into the same opening on the exterior of the home, so you can expect the storm door to be the same size as the front door. Most doors will be about 32 or 36 inches wide and 75 or 81 inches tall, although you can customize your door sizes.

There are several potential causes of a gap at the top of your storm door. For one, your door may naturally start to sag as your house settles over time. Other possible explanations include loose screws, faulty hinges, damaged weatherstripping, or incorrect installation. The right solution for fixing a gap will depend on the cause.

No, a storm door should not replace a regular door. It lacks the durability, insulation, and security of a proper exterior door. Most storm doors have lightweight frames and minimal locking hardware, and they aren’t meant to stand alone. While they work well as a backup to your main entry door, relying on one as your only barrier would likely lead to drafts, higher energy bills, and safety concerns.

Storm door panels are typically made from tempered or laminated glass, and each type has its benefits. Tempered glass goes through a special heating and cooling process, increasing its strength and durability. It’s known for its safety features—when it breaks, it shatters into small, relatively harmless pieces rather than sharp shards. Laminated glass is made by sandwiching a layer of plastic between two layers of glass. This interlayer holds the glass pieces together even when shattered, preventing them from scattering.

Yes, most installation services include the removal and disposal of old doors, which can include storm doors. It is best to confirm the specifics with your provider or installer.
