"From the initial contact; the response was quick, timely and the quote was very reasonable. The day of installation, we were instructed to hang plastic to prevent dust from the quartz cut . The crew were professional , very respectful and knowledgeable. The craftsmanship and skill set was very impressive. I would highly recommend them to my friends. If I ever need future stone / tile work I will definitely call upon them again. Excellent work ! They made my dream and vision for my kitchen come true ! Thank you!"

I’m a hands-on maintenance and tooling technician with more than 10 years of manufacturing experience. My background includes mechanical troubleshooting, equipment repair, fabrication, precision measuring, machine setup, preventive maintenance, and working with hand and power tools. I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and I take pride in figuring out problems and doing the job correctly rather than rushing through it. I’m available for general handyman work, assembly, minor repairs, maintenance projects, installations, and other hands-on jobs that fit my experience. I’ll always be upfront about what I can handle and won’t take on work outside my skill level.

"Following the recent installation of a walk-in-tub in our master bathroom, approximately 1/3 of the existing limestone tile floor had to be recovered. The limestone is rather fragile, and Chris did an excellent job removing existing tile where needed and covering the remaining open portion of the floor with similar marble tile which we had selected as a replacement. Based on Chris's performance and reasonable cost, we have hired him to also repair the flooring on our rear deck."

"Joe did a great job! Was able to handle any difficulties that cropped up during the job. Excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail. The bathrooms came out better than we could ever imagine. I would highly recommend for any kitchen/bathroom work needed. Extremely honest and outgoing. We even went out of town for a few days and gave a key with no worries or concerns. He even made sure to give our dogs a treat every morning before starting work."

"I gave these people all A's as it was a pleasure doing business with them. These people are friendly, do good work, and are punctual. We went to them because of the Angie's List rating, and our experience matched the high rating. Since the job was a small one, we hoped that we could find a remnant that met our needs; and we were successful."

Marble Restoration questions, answered by experts

Acid can seriously damage granite countertops and lead to etching and erosion. This is why cleaning with vinegar isn’t recommended. Other acidic items that you should keep away from your granite countertops include:

  • Citrus

  • Acetone nail polish remover

  • Tomatoes

  • Ammonia

In addition, always steer clear of using bleach on or around your granite as it will degrade the countertop’s sealant quickly.

Baking soda can damage some countertops, but it makes an excellent mild abrasive for removing stains on other countertops. For example, never use baking soda on quartz or glass countertops, but you can use it on laminate and tile. Stay away from using it on quartz because it can scratch and damage the counter, and glass is prone to scratches. Since baking soda is a mild abrasive, you can only use it on certain surfaces.

Yes, onyx countertops can scratch easily—especially if they’re not adequately sealed. But with the proper maintenance (which includes re-sealing the countertops to protect them from damage), you can prevent your onyx countertops from scratching and repair any damage quickly to prevent it from worsening.

To remove cloudiness from marble, use equal parts baking soda and water to form a paste. Apply it to the surface, allow it to sit for at least two hours, then wipe with a microfiber cloth. Another option is adding a couple of dish soap drops to warm water and wiping the surface after you’ve applied it to the surface. You may also consider using a liquid stone cleaner.

No, you should not put a hot pan or pot directly on a quartz countertop. While quartz is generally heat-resistant, the resin binders used in its manufacturing are sensitive to extreme heat. Placing a hot pan on the surface can damage the resin, leading to discoloration or other cosmetic issues. If the heat exceeds 150 degrees Fahrenheit, it can cause permanent damage, such as burns or even cracking. To protect your countertop, always use trivets or hot pads.
