Description of Work: Had water damage from a bathroom leak. The ensuing flood took out a bathroom, two bedrooms, study, dining area and half the living room. The house has a crawl space under all these rooms. Mike Smith's crew (Dwayne & others) removed our baseboards, so they could be used again, replaced most of the subfloor and reinsulated the crawl space over three days. They worked with the flooring company (Greer Flooring) to make sure the house was ready for installing bamboo flooring. They did a great job! - Patrick D.

Description of Work: Our home had extensive water damage beneath flooring, not discovered until three main rooms of the house were involved. Smith Cleaning and Restoration replaced all subflooring and flooring as well as baseboards and drywall where needed. They also painted finished work. We were out of our home for two full months and one week. All during that time the company worked on our home, in conjunction with our schedule and that of plumbing contractors, HVAC, and electricians. Michael Smith and his crew were exceptional and very professional at all times.

Description of Work: Our church had a pipe break in the hallway which caused water damage to flow through the ceiling and walls of our library and halls and onto the carpets. Smith Cleaning and Restoration came after hours in order to get things relatively cleaned up for the next days activities. They dried the water and started repairing the drywall. The next day they returned to finish the drywall and ceiling repairs as well as ensure that there were no further issues to deal with as far as mold growth.

Description of Work: Roof leak that caused interior damage to wall and ceilings of my home. New roof installed, ceiling / wall repair and paint.

Description of Work: I used Smith Cleaning & Restoration because of water damage to my Master bathroom.The complete bathroom tile floor had to be torn out and then the sub-flooring had to be removed and replaced. The walk in shower was torn out and replaced with a beautiful cultured marble shower. The commode had to be removed and replaced once the floor was replaced. Michael provided the his crew to do the cleaning and partial restoration plus a flooring contractor, shower contractor,plumber contractor,electrical contractor, and a paint contractor. All the contractors did a great job and were very prompt and very courteous. Michael's personal crew performed the ripping out and replacing of the damage as well as helping with the finish work.

Description of Work: Kitchen flooded due to broken main water line under sink. Kitchen, Dining Room, and Laundry Room had to be gutted. First company that came in gutted it and then wouldn't return phone calls for three weeks. I got a reference to use MIke Smith from a friend of mine that used him in her flooded home. I fired the first company and hired Micheal. He was easy to work with, professional, and direct. Told me exactly what he needed to do, was in touch with my insurance company immediately and the work started. He put me in touch with the kitchen remodeling girl at Lowe's in Central to work out the colors, patterns, etc... so that he could get going. I have a very long narrow galley kitchen with a laundry room at one end and the dining room at the other, all had to be fixed. Once the colors etc... were picked out, the floor guys got right to work. I bought new appliances, sink, faucet and light fixtures becuase I didn't want the 20+ year old equipment going back into a new kitchen and Michael was happy to install, My kitchen looks fantastic. I just had my house appraised for a refianance and the appraiser was able to use comparable homes in the 6 to 7 year old range instead of the 20 to 25 year old range becuase the kitchen, dining room is all new. Fast, Professional, works well with insurance and no smoke and mirrors. I couldn't be happier and I'd use him again. He's stuck with me.
