"Workers not sure about techniques to make 90 degree turns. Used hammer chisels instead of concrete saw for cuts. Made uneven appearance in existing driveway concrete. It will blend over time. Still waiting for City Inspection which is not Company's fault."

"My name is Toby I am a financial consultant and selected Stokes Concrete and design out of 4 other companies. Stokes was not the most expensive or least expensive. I like quality and humble people and with Stokes you get an abundance of both. Even though it was a very cold the day we poured Stokes and company worked diligently the entire day making sure my floor was right. I want Stokes Concrete to know to not change a thing and I am looking forward to our next project. I know I can expect top quality. Thanks"

"This team was great! I did not expect them to be able to complete the project so fast and efficiently. We showed them the area that we wanted the pad to be poured and they did the measurements and gave us an estimate and said that they could do the work the next day. As promised they arrived early in the morning and the job was completed by mid afternoon. We are very happy with the work and skills that they performed. I will be calling them again when I need more cement work done. Very pleased and happy with the finished product."

Concrete Mudjacking questions, answered by experts

Polyjacking and mudjacking can both be effective solutions for sinking concrete, but they have key differences. Polyjacking, which uses expanding polyurethane foam, is often considered a better option because the foam is significantly lighter than the cementitious material used for mudjacking. This reduced weight puts less pressure on the underlying soil and lowers the risk of future sinking. Polyjacking is suitable for any sinking concrete slab, while mudjacking is typically only recommended for non-structural concrete, such as sidewalks, patios, pool decks, and driveways. The primary drawback of polyjacking is its cost, which can be up to four times higher than mudjacking—as much as $25 per square foot compared to a maximum of about $6 per square foot for mudjacking.

A slurry of cement, sand, and water is injected beneath the concrete to lift and stabilize it.

Most projects take 1-3 hours, with immediate usability after completion.

Many contractors offer warranties for their work. Confirm terms before starting the project.

It restores concrete, prevents replacement cost disruptions, reduces trip hazards, and provides stability at a lower cost.
