"Hugo from MH Services did a great job cleaning my stairwell carpet. I booked through Angi, and he called about 30 minutes before arriving as discussed and showed up right on time. The quality of his work was excellent, and I’m very happy with the results. I would definitely refer him to family and friends!"

"Craig came out to our house in mid-May to inspect the chimney exterior. He emailed us an estimate with "before" photos of our chimney a few days later. We made a decision and called to schedule the work. Fortunately, we were able to get a firm date and time for late June. Craig did the actual work. He then emailed the "after" photos. He was very knowledgeable, punctual, and polite. A job well done. I highly recommend Clean Sweep Chimney Solutions."

"Others should know there are still good people that do a terrific job. One such person is Fred Neely from "All Pro Cleaning." My carpet received a miracle cleaning. My husband has allergies that require shots. Mr. Neely listened to us about the problem of chemicals and allergies. He explained the "green cleaners" he uses, and even set up dryers for drying the carpet as he proceeded. Beautiful carpet and no reactions. LOVE your carpet? All Pro Cleaning is your first and last search. Yes, we will be hiring him again."

"I'm a realtor and sometimes need a professional cleaning of my clients homes. I chose Renee because I was very impressed with the detailed itemization of services she provided, that she emailed me prior to being hired. She was very attentive to my needs and was able to accomodate an appointment to my schedule. As far as the cleaning service, all I can say was the house was tranformed from somewhat dingy to amazingly clean after she finished. I recommend her service and will hire her again."

Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Housekeepers use a range of products to clean bathrooms, including vinegar, all-purpose spray, toilet bowl cleaner, and glass cleaner. Some house cleaners use bleach products, while others may provide an option for all-natural products. You can certainly speak to your cleaning pro to discuss which products you prefer they use in your bathroom.

Yes, cleaning a crawl space is worth the cost. Although it's an out-of-sight area, neglecting it can lead to significant problems like pest infestations (including termites and carpenter ants), mold, and fungal growth, which can cause structural damage. Regular cleaning helps prevent these issues. While hiring a contractor has ongoing costs, the price for cleaning—typically between $0.50 and $4 per square foot—is much lower than the cost to remediate a pest or mold problem. Additionally, a clean crawl space can lead to improved indoor air quality and more comfortable temperatures in your home.

Professional cleaning offers deeper sanitization, reaches grout inaccessible by home tools, and restores tiles without causing damage. Technicians have expertise and equipment that ensures long-lasting cleanliness and improved aesthetics.

To determine whether you can use cleaning wipes on baseboards, figure out if your trim and baseboards are painted or stained. Painted baseboards can often handle wipes that contain bleach or similar disinfectant. However, steer clear of using these wipes on unfinished wood baseboards, especially if you use them regularly.

Professionals use various tools and cleaning solutions based on the type of floor they’re cleaning. They often use industrial steam cleaners to pull debris out of the carpet. For localized stains, they may use a commercial cleaner or a mixture of water, vinegar, and dish soap. For tile, they’ll typically use dish soap and hot water, plus a mixture of baking soda and hot water for the grout. For cleaning wood floors, they might use a low-heat steamer, a mop with an oil wood floor cleaner, or a mixture of hot water, vinegar, and lemon juice.
