At Salvatore Clean Air Services LLC, we assure quality dryer vent cleanings from the inside of your dryer to the outside of your home. With years of experience, SCAS strives to take care of your dryer for you to help its longevity, durability, and safety.
"The provider came on time and "completed" the work in a timely manner on a Friday afternoon. The next time we used the dryer, we noticed that the laundry room was getting very hot and the clothes were not drying. I sent a text to Salvatore Clean Air Services and he said the vent was clean when he left and that it must be a problem with the dryer. I then paid $100 for a dryer repairman to come tell me that the dryer was fine and that the vent was clogged. I texted Salvatore Clean Air Services again and he did not reply for several days as was in Europe and would be out of the country for 3 weeks. He said the vent was clean when he left. Since we could not wait for his return, I contacted another one of your recommended providers (Anchor Heating and Air). They came to clean the vent and said the vent was clear and I must have a collapsed vent blocking the airflow. To do that, someone would have to go through by 1st floor ceiling to access the vent and find where it was collapsed. Anchor heating and air charged me $89 for their assessment and advice. I then hired a contractor to cut through my ceiling and repair the vent. After three large holes through the ceiling and dry wall, all they found was a clogged dryer vent with only lint. This service cost me an additional $1200, two days of me taking off work, and a significant mess from the drywall cutting and repair and repainting of my ceiling. I contacted both Salvatore Clean Air Services and Anchor letting them know what transpired and sent them pictures of the lint the general contractor removed from the vent. Salvatore Clean Air Services promised me to reimburse me for his services. After three weeks and two follow-on requests, I have received nothing from him. Anchor never replied to my requests for reimbursement. This minor service turned into a total cost of $1409 to me, plus me having to take time off work for 2-days and 2=days of inconvenience of my house in disarray. These vendors should be ashamed of the service, or lack thereof, that they provided. For reference, I am attaching pictures of the holes cut into my ceiling and the lint pulled from the vent that was causing the blockage. Obviously, it was not a collapsed vent."
