"I got in touch with CRAZY CRITTERS LLC. because I had a bird in music vent in the attic. I highly recommend! Andrew was very knowledgeable, prompt, efficient and very reasonable. He and Ryan even saved who is now known as "Chirpy the bird". He will take her to a rescue facility in Columbia as she cannot fly yet."

"These guys came out and assessed if we had a pest problem and spoke with me both times in a straight forward and honest way. They correctly identified that we had squirrels in the winter and bats this past summer. They stated what they would do and gave me a quote quickly. They did exactly what they said and the price was accurate. I've now hired them twice, and although I hope I don't have any more pests, if I do, I'll call them again.

"Birds started building a nest on a very small eave above my front door on our front entry to the house. Ronald came out and resolved our problem, took the time to explain what he suggested we do, offered a few options and recommendations. He did a great job and was very professional and efficient."

"They did a great job. They solved all the problems I had with the chimney and it’s been working perfectly ever since. They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before. It took them a couple of days to do the work. They took care of all the cleanup as well. We've been real happy with them."

Bird Control questions, answered by experts

Once the animals and their young are out of the house, remove the nest and locate any entry points. Some may be difficult to find because some animals can fit through very small holes. Once you’ve located as many entry points as possible, use materials such as metal or masonry to block off the entry. Ideally, you should choose materials that most animals cannot chew through. Create a one-way door or flap to allow animals to leave but not return. Additional methods include using repellants designed to make an area unappealing to the types of animals that find your home so inviting.

To keep animals out, you must prevent them from entering. As long as they can get in, the problem will persist. That said, consider making your attic less inviting using deterrents like motion-activated lights or ultrasonic devices. Additionally, keeping a well-maintained, clean, and uncluttered attic that you regularly inspect for activity may make the space less attractive to critters.

This depends on if their needs are being met. They'll likely return night after night if they have access to food, water, and adequate shelter. If this changes, they’ll look for another roosting spot. This is why bright lights and other dissuading factors often work when removing bats from a property.

No, you shouldn’t have to worry about bats in your yard as long as they don’t make their way inside your house. Typically, bats hang around backyards in order to consume bugs, especially if they’re located in the U.S. Bats that are native to North America can consume more than 500 bugs per hour, so they may actually benefit your yard if mosquitoes are prevalent.

Vinegar can keep some animals at bay, like deer, rabbits, foxes, and raccoons. Keep in mind that your household pets, like cats and dogs, also don’t like the smell of vinegar. You can soak rags in white vinegar and put them up around your garden beds to keep the pesky critters from eating your plants.
